The one I'm testing is the Terrova 36 Volt 101. They also make 24 Volt 80# or 12 Volt 55#.

Mitchell Wall - Sounds like you have a power supply or wiring issue and not getting 24 volts to the Trolling Motor. Look at Power Supply and Test Batteries and Power Supply Voltage. If that does not fix the concern visit your local MinnKota Authorized Service Center they can help you.

Is that the 101# thrust?

in windy conditions fishing ledges and following contours how long will it hold up and how many batteries will I need to run with it....3 batteries seems like it will not last 10 to 15 hour fishing.... trips.....

That all depends on the Quality of Batteries you Choose. There are many different battery specs....Reserve Capacity is what you need to compare the longer the Reserve Capacity the Longer the Run Time. I try to purchase the largest Reserve Capacity Batteries I can. And never had issues with battery life.

how long would the trolling motor last if you kept the spot lock on? As in battery life

That depends on size of Battery (Reserve Capacity) but Spot Lock does not run the motor all the time so probably less than manually steering and running it

I'm having a problem with speed I have an 18 foot boat with an 80lb Minn kota terrova I can't above 2mph please help
