I did not at the time of testing but I will be connecting to all my units via the 5 Port Ethernet Hub and it can be controlled from any Humminbird connected via Ethernet.

Thanks, Doug, but wow, Apple needs to get involved in this! Minn Kota, Humminbird, etc. make all this WAY too difficult!

+Taka Yama if you used apple maps you would end up in the middle of the sahara desert. i would recommend android and google maps.

I love all you tips & tricks you show us. I just purchased a Minn Kota Ulterra112 with I-Pilot link and my big problem is ON advise on mounting it. There a literally so many mounting brackets to chose from and It gets so confusing on what's the best way to mount it.. I spent hours on the web working on this. I an wanting to be able to remove it at stay overs so it doesn't find a new home and I also like that one that slides in 6' when traveling then you can unlock it and move the Unit back out to get ready to launch. I bet I'm not alone. Work on that.

Question how long should the battery last on a typical day on the water I have the same remote and it gives me about 4 hours ????? Should I change the battery or it that normal. Thank you

Going to depends on use and settings (Backlight intensity) but Iwould get several days use but I used the footpedal more to control. This remote is rechargeable.

Yes I thought so talked to a minnkota Dealer said black light wouldn’t make that big of a difference I think he just wanted to sell me a battery . Thank you

How do you unlock the remote screen so you can operate the trolling motor. Screen on remote will go on then shut off after about 10 seconds. Tried 3 new battries but still does the same thing!

I would call MinnKota Customer Service they can answer that question faster. I don't have this remote any longer since I upgraded to the ULTREX with new Bluetooth iPilot LINK.
