Used FTC for the first time yesterday. One issue that came up time after time was that,after a certain distance or amount of time, the FTC function ended and the trolling motor ran wildly off course. I had done nothing on my Helix 9 or the iPilot remote to cause the FTC function to terminate. What am I doing wrong.

Hello Jason, great video thanks. Does follow contour work only with following a map or also following a certain depth range with transducer information rather than map information , where there is no map info for that lake.

No, Lakemaster maps only. Also works with custom-made maps using Autochart Live.
