Hello, you trimmed a native but what about the other tall ones? When the flower head dies how far down do you cut those to keep them growing through out the summer? Thank you, Jeni

Excellent video, thank you. My plant blooms in spring , i deadhead spent flowers. It never, rebloom past June. Any advice ? Zone 5A.

Can you share a close up image of what you refer to as "new growth"? Also, after the flower is spent and the petals fall away, does a long tendril looking thing remain in the center? I just want to make sure I am identifying the spent blooms and the new growth correctly. I can keep guessing, but I'd rather know for sure that I am deadheading properly! These are my absolute favorite plants and more blooms make them even more spectacular. Thanks!
