maybe you can shed light on this.....I have or maybe had when you read this a Filipina girlfriend, I will start by telling you my immediate experience with some of her family. my first experience i met her at the airport with about 8 others. they then expected my to pay for all of them for days. the second time she promised it would be different. but All they wanted from me from the very get go were gifts and money, and even her brother and friend came to my house I rented for us asking for money, most likely for beer, cigarettes or whatever, within 24 hours of arriving on my second visit. This same brother about 20yo would drive by the house asking for things he knew we might have like chocolate which she took from our fridge and brought to him outside. I almost didn’t come because of my first visit which was for 1 week in April 2015. I was paying everything for several family members (for her aunt, aunt’s bf and their kids) on a daily basis and her Aunt wanted to plan our time there which my girlfriend was ready to follow which was to include all of them of course. This was our first time meeting in person after maybe 2 months of chatting. I was shocked on how they were so ready to take advantage from the second I arrived. I returned telling her sorry but I don’t want this in my life and that I had a miserable time. But I was assured this would not be the case in the future. But it was the case again, expected to pay for everything and everyone. If you don’t do what they want or complain they may accuse you of being cheap, being selfish or counting everything, but believe me it adds up quickly and it is money I worked very hard for. To blow it on strangers ready to squander money I worked hard for is offensive to me. They claim it’s their culture or they have strong family values or its sharing etc. but really it’s simply exploitation. So I rented a small little home for 1 month. There were many dogs, cats and chickens in the neighborhood. Most dogs running loose, barking day and night, eating your garbage and lots of puppies. Now witnessing their parenting skills and nutrient was the next thing upsetting me. They choose the worst food/junk to eat and drink, it’s even more expensive. Most kids front teeth have rotten away by 10-13 y/o. This seems to be about the age many also quit school. I refused to eat like this or feed her siblings this way but they usually pushed aside the healthier food I served them. They think they are more important to your spouse/gf/etc. than you are and they expect loyalty from their children, niece/nephews, cousins 1st 2nd 3rd, grandchildren, even other Filipinos’ over you, for the sake of the family or culture when they want money or something. They use foreigners as a source to support them, their children and all their family members. They say it’s their culture but it’s simply a freeloading lazy exploitative narcissistic mentality, a kind prostitution and uncivilized behavior. What’s mine or what I worked hard for she considered was hers instantly and what is hers her family considers is theirs as well. Even personal items of mine she shares with them, from the pillow and blanket on my bed, even my bed, breath mints, razor, whatever I had before I considered very personal to me are not here. They just help themselves without permission. I’ve have watched them smoke other people’s cigarettes, take food off their plate in restaurants and even drink out of their glasses/cups without permission. I’ve asked her and her siblings to not eat between meals or everything once we arrive from the grocery store. She will also add items to the grocery cart we already have or for her parents. I cannot afford all this nor am i being appreciated or respected and they don’t get it. I can go on and on how I feel taken advantage of. It’s not their money they are spending or worked for, I am sure it would be a different story if it was. I’m sure with most foreigners or anyone who has a job it’s the same. You invite a couple of them out for dinner or your home once the others are aware of it more and more will show up with their kids and all, ready to raid your home and take without permission and litter all over, with disgusting eating habits. At first when they showed up invited or uninvited they wanted me to pay their taxi. They expect you to provide meals, alcohol, cigarettes, pay transportation home or they may want to stay even for the night, week or month or until they find something better. Like I mentioned above they like to show up without an invitation and feel they are entitled to invite others to your home with all their kids. They are happy to waste food and other things when others pay. Yet they can barely afford rice on their own. They abuse your generosity to a level that is disgusting and do nothing for you. However children are raised this way to take care of their parents etc. I don’t think it is love as they do, it is an unhealthy dependency and a way to justify leaching/mooching of each other to protect their way of life. Yet they seek foreigners to support not just one of them but all of them. Why? There is no shame here or guilt for what they do. I doubt it will work out for me and my gf as I can’t stand this type of behavior it is toxic to me and causes overwhelming resentments and a lack of trust. All the extras on them really add up. If they see any money or assets in the future connected to her I am sure they will come after it, like it is theirs or they have a right to it. This is a post I read was written by a Pilipino: The Filipino’s concept of close family ties gave rise to a tradition not really meant to evoke affection between family members but rather to take advantage and leech on those who are successful; to mooch from those who labor and think; to ride on and claim pride from the accomplishments of others because they are your kin or a “kababayan.” It is a product of mediocrity, laziness, lack of self-respect and a failure to become independent self-determinists. You probably heard the saying ’beggars can’t be choosy’, meaning people who depend on the generosity of others are in no position to dictate what others give them, but not the case with Filipinos, they’re choosy and will take advantage when they can even call you cheap if they are not satisfied and criticize how you spend your money on them or yourself. Once they can’t rely on their youth, appearance or sex appeal anymore they will be abandoned. From my experience here I believe many of them whose bf works abroad and who sends them money, these women are not even faithful to them and have other secret bf or keep looking for other men online they can exploit/seduce into giving to them or sending them money. Disgusting but true in many of these cases involving foreigners and online dating sites. Yes they spend this money you send them on friends and family, going to bars/discos, liquor, cigarettes etc…they have fun while you work, easy money they can spread around is all they care about. This is not love it’s using/abuse/deceit. If you do decide to continue with a relationship with someone from this country I suggest strong boundaries from the beginning. Don’t give unless it is really needed or for health. Do not allow just anyone to drop in without an invitation, don’t pay for everything or everyone, and see how they react and if they respect your relationship, make sure your gf respects you too and your well-being comes first. When we are alone and I start to feel some peace, manageability and tranquility I will start to notice litter they left on my property from ice pop packages, gum wrappers, bottles, candy wrappers and then stepping on blobs of gum sticking on my shoes while I am trying to bbq or there is garbage under or in the cracks of the sofa etc. Then they think I am cheap, close minded, moody or anti-social. I have limits and standards which is something they don’t understand, they are ready to defend their behavior and way of life but want the foreigner to bail them out and feel sorry for them. I know my relationship is about what I am not whom I am and it will be a miserable existence for me. I can’t wait to look back on this and be free again. What I did learn though is that the stupidity, lack of education and poverty here has a lot to do with laziness and the enmeshed/codependent family structure. I once thought I could save for a home for us here and maybe start a small business but never under these conditions, nor do I believe she will be able change this intrusiveness that would prevent this from happening as much as she tries to convince me.

It's simple isn't it? why carry on with all the crap from day one? How can you possibly think their is a future if this is the rules they live by, start the way you intend to continue and a standard you are happy to live with. If it's not, trade in, can't see how anyone could live with what you describe.

+Mark Melanson Wow, this has been eating at you, hasn't it? Don't worry, I understand your pain. Pasalubong, is a filippino tradition where when you travel and come home, you bring a present to the family left behind. It's usually a nice sentiment, but they knew you were a "white foreigner", so you have money. If you have a good pinay, she will shield you from a lot of the exploitation you experienced. My gf in Makati, her landlord tried to get her to exploit me with that shit, and she told her no, so it happens in our favor if she is genuine. My advice, is to remember why you chose to date a pinay. Yes, some of their customs are weird, and seem crazy as far as the taking care of parents and such. To our western minds, they seem like built in scams. But they evolved that way for a reason. What I found is it's best to redirect it. Meaning, my parents are old, and one day will be infirm, I don't have to ever worry about if I want to take them in, in filippino culture, you care for your family. There is no retirement homes there. The urge to take care of family, i channeled into us starting one. Granted, birthdays, Christmas and special events, i'll send presents or money, but it's a small cost. It's about choosing the right woman. I found mine, and I wish you luck in your search. Don't give up, I promise for every girl like that one, there are five more wanting to take her place.

oh man! so sorry to you. yes, that is how many of us are. I told to my husband almost exactly the same as what you mentioned. One time when i went home the first time from my first adventure abroad as a worker, the wife of my brother went with my sister to the port as well and they want me to bring them to Jollibee ( fast food like Mc Donalds. I told them right away that i am tired and all i want is to go home and rest. So then we went home straight and they didn't get anything from me at all. During my home coming from Canada there were many who ask from me but i didtn't give them and all they heard from me was, " if i will give all of you, how can i live?" However not all of us. when i went to Manila to see my nephews and nieces the 3 kids of my brother there didn't ask from me at all. I offered them since i have been gone for so long and yet it was a birthday of one. but you know what, my niece having birthday responded, " no auntie, pls. don't worry about us. We don't want you traveling without money." I was amazed by her at her early age of 8 years old she thinks like that. I told her that it is ok i have a little money to get her a cake and we could celebrate her BD a little bit. although happy but still told me to just not over spend. My youngest sister although poor, never asked money from me. A very simple having simple life but when i ask her i could always hear from her to not worry about them and they are okay. Except for my eldest sister who tries to live a higher standard of living. She is different when it comes to spending however, she has pride. She can ask money from me but not from a man. Laziness, for sure. Majority of us are. there are so many empty lands while there are so many people sitting everywhere. I have been encouraging my families to cultivate land work and plants rice and corn and not just live by the money from abroad because the money cannot by food if there is none. I told them that if they will not do that i will go home and do farming. to show them the importance of farming. I was surprise to hear from my mother who is receiving monthly allowance from me that she has now a corn field. was awesome at her age 78. We have a lot in our land and no one even harvest for some reasons. When i had my visit i had no reason at all when it come to harvesting. I told them harvest what we have in our land and give it to the hungry neighbors than these will just get rotten. We have a heart to give but of course just when it makes since. My mother and my father although they have money from me but they never sit. Papa still working and still has farm and animals. Money from me is for them to not worry for their monthly since vendors in the city will not give good payments to the product from our land. and that is the bad thing there too. I hate to say this but it is true. when we are the one buying ffrom them it is expensive but when they are the ones buying from us it is so cheap. And since my parents are old already i have to support them. Being kind or following the tradition. it is a good tradition we have. because when you have nothing and you have no where else to go. These people can accommodate you and help as what we can. That is for the majority and not all. so don't expect that they will help you. You just need to give them as what you can afford to lose. Treat it like gambling. Play what you can afford to lose and just bring that said amount only and no more. Say for example your budget is only $20 for going to Casino. then do not bring more than that or you will lose all of it. So then when you go to the Philippines as well better to show that you are a poor guy. Anyways, it doesn't mean that you are foreigner then you are rich. poor people are everywhere as well so pretend that you are poor. If they don't accept you then that is a great sign. I once asked my bf now my husband to let me borrow $5K. But to check whether he will turn away after that. For i was looking for signs. But if he will still stay and will response nicely still then he could be. I have tested him a lot so then i ended up marrying him. Yet i sponsored him to get is PR. But yes for real one she should not ask money the the guy who is into a serious relationship. My case was the other way around. For i was looking for the right guy. but of course I was permanent resident already. I didn't even told him at first. Anyways, good luck on you and hope you can find the right person. there are so many at your age out there. Nice women are everywhere in the globe. Anywhere can be worse as well. Be positive and don't quit. you deserve a better one for as long as you are.

I'm getting an annulment from my Filipina wife. I already have a new Filipina gf.... It's really sad that the schools in the Philippines don't teach more about ethics, honesty, etc.... Maybe if they taught the kids to be respectful and work for themselves instead of scamming anyone for anything..... Throwing garbage on the ground....? The Philippines could be a beautiful country, but too much garbage everywhere....

+Mark Melanson When trying to have an LDR you have to take your time. The longer you spend getting to know the girl the better. My Filipina would rather borrow from a relative or Pawn something of hers than ask me for money. Even now when she knows that I will help her if I can, she still feels uncomfortable asking me for help. If the Filipina asks you for money or gets angry with you when you ask tough questions she is most likely a scammer. Scammers don't like to answer a lot of questions because they would have to remember those answers should you ask them again at a later time. The truth is easy to remember so honest girls will be willing to answer any questions you have without getting upset. At first my Filipina asked me why I was asking so many questions. I told her that was how people get to know each other. She seemed shy to willingly share her daily Life with me and that forced me to ask questions. Turns out, she was being cautious too. A Foreign Man had tried to scam her once. Imagine that, a Foreigner trying to scam a poor Filipina. Anyway, Just take your time, talk to as many Filipina's as you can (one at a time though because Dating is not a Concept excepted by Filipinas, they believe in Courting One-at-a-Time), when you find the right one you will know. I talked to about 75 Filipinas before I found my Diamond in the Rough. She was so Honest, Sincere, Understanding and Compassionate she stood out from all the rest. We have been a couple for almost 4 years now. I spent 2 weeks with her there in the "Pines" back in April of 2014. Currently my Petition to bring her to the U.S. is under review at the California USCIS office. She is still the same girl I met online back in July of 2012. And I plan to Marry her. Your risk of ending up with a scammer multiplies exponentially if either of you try to rush the relationship. A "Good" girl will want you to "Court" her and earn her trust. If a Filipina is "Pushing" you for anything, dump her and start over with the next one. One last thing... ALWAYS ask to see and talk to them on Cam... ALWAYS!

I've met many Filipinos online and have been to the Philippines many times. I have a good eye for scams and get away from them quickly. I've heard them all, medicine for baby, I need to get my teeth fixed, I need to attend my grandmothers funeral, need money for school, I could go on and on. That being said, there are some good girls there and they might ask you for money also, because they're very poor and they need stuff like food. I don't mind a girl I like to ask money from me because they use it for the reason they needed it for. If I discover lying and cheating, I'm gone. If you meet a pretty filipina, go to her house, meet her family and neighbors, her kids and relatives. Find out if everything she told you was true. Filipinas, if they have a Father, he probably works overseas and sends money home,. He comes home every theee years. My point is this, the filipina culture survives around a man sending money to them. It is their goal to find a man who will support them and her family...this is particularly true if the father is deceased. When this happens, everyone in the family is trying to find a man to send them money.....so they can buy rice and vayan. They are needy but some of these girls are good, strong women. I've met many girls in the Philippines and even though they needed stuff, I generally buy for them. I met a girl three years ago who I enjoyed being with and although she never did come out and ask money, she would tell me they needed this or that and I would volunteer to buy. I enjoy doing it.....there is no lying just need. We got married three years ago and she turned out at least so far to be a great wife. These girls offer themselves to us in order to get support for their families because they are desperate. Let's face it, your average male goes there to take advantage of that desperation. It's only fair if we go there to take advantage of them, that they do the same. Still they can be good women. I believe I have a good one.

Just a piece of advice in finding the right person. Do not fall in love before knowing the entire family background. Thus, you have to see them personally first. Budget of what to give away it is to show your kindness. But don’t give for business or hospitalization, properties, etc. Or should not be over $20. The best one from the Philippines is the one who doesn’t ask anything at all despite of a poor living.

You made some very good point on how certain Filipinas are scamming their foreign boyfriends. Speaking of that, I answered a question on Yahoo Answers last November that dealt with the topic you mentioned in your video. It's a man who asked if all women in the Philippines ask for money are scammers. He was already involved with a Filipina who persistently asked him for money. He was already in the Philippines to meet her. I knew something wasn't right from the moment I came across his question. Here's my response: First of all, yes. A very small number of them ask for money, but a significant number of others won't do something like that. When you try to get into a relationship with a Filipina, know that she (and most other women) won't ever ask for money up front. All they want is you to gain their trust after coming off a very bad relationship. Just allow a sufficient amount of time before she earns your trust. Second, you're already dealing with a scammer. All she wants is your money and not your love. You may need to cut her loose and go home before being heartbroken by her. What that woman wants is your money for so-called expenses (i.e. food, rent, plane tickets and travel visas, webcam usage, etc.) and fake life-threatening emergencies. The money you give her can also be financing her lifestyle of clubbing with her "friends" to pick up prospective partners. You should also keep in mind the scammer may already have a boyfriend or husband and is egging her on with the scamming activities; there's a already a good chance you can be put in very serious danger in the process with him and his gang of thugs who can rob you at any chance they get. Your death is possible in connection with this scam she's pulling. That's the last, but worst, possible thing that can happen to you. As I told you before, go home now before it's too late. It's not worth the waste of your time and money to meet up with the scammer. This piece of advice can also save your life in the process.
@briankh2007
@briankh2007 8 жыл бұрын
***** That's not true. If you read my answer more thoroughly, there are a few Filipinas who engage in scamming activities while a significant majority of others don't. It's the actions of the few who are already making things harder for the rest of the Filipinas who are already seeking a serious relationship with foreign men. Feminists have absolutely nothing to do with what I just explained here.

I've been in Leyte for nearly 10 years now, I read the long comment at the beginning of the article and whole heartedly agree with most of it. I thought that I must post my take on the subject. I met my wife over 7 years ago and I had the happiest 5 years of my life. No family members ever asked for anything because I made it plain they would get nothing. Period..My wife never asked me for any money at all, even when I came back to the UK, I left her with my second ATM card with instructions to take out 3,000p a week, nothing more.. she never did and when I got back, she was so proud to return the 11,000 she had not used. One day she just collapsed and died. I was heartbroken for the last 2 years, but I joined a dating site, and my goodness me, I quickly found out what the author of the piece I read was talking about. I'll be so glad to get away from the freeloaders around me that call me cheap and bad. I'm afraid I've come to the conclusion now, that I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. I thank the Author of the article in spelling it out as it is, thank you

I met a Filipina online; visited her and her family a few times. I then sold my lake front house in the USA and moved to Manila. I bought a new house in Laguna Bel Air III and lived with her entire family in the new house. I invested in many businesses for the family (3 jeepneys, sari-sari store, internet cafe and a loan business). I lived in Sta Rosa for 18 Months and then I needed to go back to the USA to file personal income taxes and other personal business. While I was gone my wife went to the bank and emptied the account. Joy went on 'vacation' with all of the money I had left in our CitiBank account. My wife had a good time with her boyfriend in the Philippines while I was in the USA. I forgave my wife and worked on her immigration papers to live in the USA. My wife came to the USA with a green card and six Months later she left me one final time wanting a divorce. While I was in the away from our bedroom, my now ex-wife wrote down all of the credit card information and tried to use my credit cards while she was in the Philippines visiting family. My ex-wife admits to three different extramarital affairs (only because I saw pictures of her with these men). Joy’s bff, told me it was more like 12 different guys over the six year marriage. My ex-wife had a heart murmur and could not breathe well; thanks to me and my money, she had surgery and is healthy now and living in the USA. I wasted well over $200,000 USD on her. The house in Laguna Bel Air III is now for sale….

I feel really dumb about getting scammed by my Filipina. I dated her 17 months, flew to Philippines 3 times to meet her. Met family, and send allowance after about 5 months in. I sent her a very large allowance every week for the last three month to resign her job and go live in the province for a few months with her son, so they could bond and prepare to live overseas with me. There was signs along the way that things where not all as stated, but to my horror I found out she wasn't even in the province and she was married. I sent 4.5K just for he to put on a party for her son & find out her husband was there eating the meal I paid for. It was lucky some decent people contacted me about her deception and I was able to catch her out..This came out all very recently so I am still compiling a mental list of all the things that happened that i just didn't piece together ..

Hi MiraK I can’t believe that a simple tips in a very old video talking about scammer Filipinas open my eyes very fast. Of course I’m thinking about that I’m not even know about what that word really mean. And every líes or excuses to get more money from us, I didn’t know till now that I was a victim not one but twice from Filipinas girls witch I did love very honestly thoughtful and really careful really taking care of her needs.man!! It’s hurt a lot when with no reason they just dump a the wrong person to start dating others on your back. Thanks a lot!! Because this information comes from someone who really knows a Filipinas girl, of course from another lovely Filipina girl like you. We learn the hard way this kind of thing. Still love Filipino people. Not all Filipinas girl do this, you looks like one of those kind left gracias mi amor!!!

I apologize in advance for the long story. Thank you for the good info in this video. I wish i had seen this video before I fell in love with a Filipina from Angeles City 4 years ago. Prior to meeting my ex-fiance, I knew nothing about AC and how a lot of girls, not all, but a lot of girls from AC like to lie to, cheat on, and scam foreign men out of money. I met my ex on FilipinaCupid. She never asked me for money, although I did send her money a couple times, but it was me offering to help her and not her asking for it, so it was like a gift. I also surprised her with birthday and Valentine gifts. After I met my ex, I started searching Google to lean about her city and what I learned about AC was mostly bad. AC is full of clubs, bars, gay bars, ladyboys, prostitutes, child prostitution rings, and girls who like to scam foreign men. It sounded like a disgusting place to me. And by the way, you can blame douchebag foreigners for screwing up AC, because most bars and clubs in AC are owned by foreigners. They don't care about the rich culture of the Philippines, the beautiful scenery, the great food food, the amazing people, the history of the Philippines. Most, not all, but most foreigners who go to the Philippines, only go there for sex and other selfish reasons. But that's another topic for another time. Anyway, I'm not a partier and I rarely drink so I don't care for the bar scene in AC, but I thought I had a great girl because she was intelligent, educated, a teacher at a college. So I thought she was a good person. Plus when I first read her profile, I was amazed because we had so much in common, we had all the same hobbies and interests. I had read through thousands of profiles and was ready to give up when I found hers. Anyway, I traveled to the Phils, met my ex, I proposed to her, we had a great vacation together, then I returned to the US and a about a month after returning I found out she has been cheating on me for several months with 2 other American guys who both live in AC. She had been sleeping with both of them while we were together. Then, after 2 years of a relationship and being engaged, she completely disappeared and didn't even explain herself. So we haven't spoken since then. A few months after my ex disappeared, I spoke her her family and they told me they are mad at her and had a big argument with her because they knew what she had done to me. They also told me they don't like her new guy because he is a control freak, manipulative, a pothead and abusive. Oh, just so you all know, I wasn't completely stupid because I did suspect she was cheating on me and I caught her by putting spy software on her phone haha. That's my story. Just for the record, I still like Filipinas, I know most Filipinas are good, honest and faithful, and I have many Filipino friends. So I'm not saying al Filipinas are like that. In fact, I still plan to marry a Filipina in the future.

yes, should anyone ask for money, for what ever reason, excuse, don't do it. Besides the obvious, are they being honest with the other person ? I say NO, cause the common theme is, most people want to get something for nothing, when you use a certain perspective, you'll understand most people have a Undeveloped MBA, Mindset, Blueprint, Attitude. They don't have to be stuck with a Poverty MBA for life, anyone can consciously change their lives, should they really want to. Use the 100/0 principle, very good book, it shows how to develop a great relationship with someone else. Thing is, most people are lazy, unmotivated, they hardly do anything to work at the said relationship. It's really easy to see, when the numbers don't match up, those people don't belong in your life. What I learned over the years, is most people aren't worth the time, effort, and money. The other thing is, those people don't value anyone, sad to see, it's true. The numbers speak for themselves, Use this perspective, 100% doubt, 0% credibility, 0% respect, 0% trust, 0% integrity, etc Most people ASSume they have credibility w/o even working at it, seems they are confused, looks like they expect to get the benefit of the doubt ? 11:04 am, CST, wednesday, 3-17-2021.

Mary and I loved each other. We were close to getting married. Last time I met her she was planning to work in Saudi Arabia. She told me if she had a small business, she would not have to go to Saudi. I helped her to open a small business. Her business was going good till last November. And then she found a Norwegian boyfriend. And then last December her business went down. I didn't notice what happened till this April. I loved her kids so much. I supported them. And then one of her relatives told me that she has a boyfriend 60 years old, who was Norwegian, a retired army guy. Then I told Mary, but she didn't like it. She she sent her new sexy pic’ told me if I do not sent her money what I going miss her’ She emotionally and mentally damaged me because she was living with this guy 5 months or more and I didn't know it. She was honeymooning with this guy all the time, so she was also hurting me with mean words. But I learned from my experience: when your age is different from the girl, when you're older, she is interested in money -not love! And I'm hoping to share my experience so that nobody makes the same mistake I did.

We met through a "Philippine Romance Tour" that sponsors Socials in Cebu and Davao we co-authored a book about our experience "Finding My Rainbow". Our advice to men looking for good women, and women looking for good men, is you must actually meet in person. Do not write endless letters, or chat on line in a virtual romance. Have a REAL Relationship and that can only be done if you actually meet! Thanks again for keeping it real MiraK!

My friend sends money over to real women on the Philippines and plans to visit there in a few months. He already visited once to see a girl he met on there, and she just turned him off. So basically wasted a trip and he came back to America. Now he’s been sending another woman money and she’s been chatting with him for 8 months. He thinks she’s genuine… And he’s tempted to also go see her. What’s the chance he’s being scammed? They are verified through live video. But the women seem to be single mothers and they keep sending him photos of themselves trying to entice him. This week she came on strong and to him and keeps calling him when he doesn’t answer. Anyone have any insights or experiences on this? He had already told her, no more money, next time I send you is when I see you in person. Then when he went to see the first girl, he never even met her, and then somehow she convinced him to keep sending money… now he’s going to see her in January. She’s like “comfort me!!! There’s mosquitoes here!!! I need to buy nets and insect repellent. What’s the chance he’s being scammed?

Love cannot be bought - If a Filipna is quick to tell you she loves you and shows her love too soon, that is a red flag, love is a long process. if the discussion of "money" is the first thing you talk about then you have your clue. Also if a guy is fucking ugly and is shown all the love and caring that is another signal. Face it, be it Western or Asian, I don't know any Women who would settle for an UGLY guy - MAYBE some do, but the process is more difficult - they would have to get to KNOW you first and your personality - but Filipinas who quickly fall in love with UGLY Kano = red flag, only difference is PH culture - family is important, and usually Filipinas are nice and mannered, unlike the Americans who are rude and will disrepsect you if you look different or ugly, they will say it to your face and diss you. But you can be considered UGLY in America but pogi in PH - SO looks can be subjective though in Western culture the criterias tend to be extreme, you either are gwapo or pangit - if you are just in middle you still are NOTHING in Western society,!!

real talk here's some advise brothers. If you're just looking for some fun yeah you could go ahead and visit all the red district as long as you want but don't expect that they will love you that easily. lol now if you're looking for a serious and quality relationship then forget about the pubs, beerhouses, bars etc... you're just wasting your time and fooling yourselves cause you won't find them there. Instead go to a church (I'm not kidding) and you'll find plenty good looking single filipinas there with good characters (and most of the times who never had a boyfriend before) I'm not judging women working in those places but you have to wake up and be honest to yourself that they're doing it because it's their job and they have a family to feed. very seldom you'll find true love there I tell you. the more boyfriend for them the better cause it means more financial support and in the end of the day if there's a loser it will be you. not them. you invested money and emotion they will give you temporary happiness not commitment and that's it. They're used to it. what makes you think that you're special among all of their other visitors for them to fall in love with you? have you ever asked yourself that question? again, I'm not not judging them. for some it works but just like what I've said it's very rare. and again, real talk only.

My tip so you don't get scammed: Do not treat women from the Philippines any different than you would from your home country. For instance, if you just date someone from your town, do you give them financial support? Filipinos do not earn as much as folks in other countries, but they are resourceful. If the woman values the relationship, asking support from you would be the very last thing on her mind.

I had a filipina scammer the other day. She told a sad story. Her mom had high blood, her dad was blind,and they hadn't eaten any food for days. And she seemed so sweet until she asked for money for food. When I said I couldn't do it, her attitude changed. She had no money but she had a lot of data available on her phone. She finally said if I couldn't help her she would have to say goodbye forever. I told her,I wish her good luck and things change for her and her family. That's when she blocked me.

Most real Filipinas will not ask for money even if they need it because she will want you to take her serious. Any woman who asks for money when she never even met her is most likely a scammer so don't send it.

Great Information from a honest Filipina. No good Filipina would ask you for anything...unless she has no shame. There are plenty of lovely, sweet and caring Filipino Women who are sincere wives. For those of you with the hate and negative comments, most of you have never been there. If you act like the "Rich Foreigner" and a walking ATM you will be taken advantage of....Just say NO! Most Filipino people are nice, kind, caring and compassionate people.

"How do you know if they love you or they're scamming you?" Well that's the trick now isn't it? Here's a great rule of thumb..or 2. If they ask you for money, they're scamming you. And don't send them money. Ever. If she asks you for money and you tell her no, and she stops talking to you, there ya go, she didn't really love you. If she really truly is in love with you and you've spent a year or more talking to her and you decide to meet up, tell her she needs to come to the U.S. Buy the airline ticket yourself directly, don't send her the money for it. It's not really hard to protect yourself, just use your head, the one on your shoulders that is.

You need someone who wants you but doesn't need you. You need to look at her and her family too. That takes time and a lot longer than flying in for a couple of weeks.

scammers are everywhere all over the country not only in philippines all i can say is to all guy searching for love or partners or want to Marry a woman you better know first the girl if someone asking money dont ever send money to her coz you never meet this girl in person and talk to her that you never send money coz your looking for love not for charity. All i can say is mostly filipina are good person For foriegn guy whose looking partners or leading for marriage you better choose a girl whose not working in a bar or be a real man dont look to young women like 18 yrs coz they are to young to have a serious relationship . When i have a business in cebu for more than 5 years i saw many foriegn guy going to the bar with ladys in a bar. Can i ask why foriegn not contented in just one girl thyre always looking for another one. one time i saw filipina and foriegn guy couple, the man shouted to his wife and he insulted his wife and trying to slap his wife and the girl crying in that time i tried to call a police to pick up his husband but their already left.. A foriegn guy abuse his wife. The guy acting that he have everything and the girl has nothing.. and he can do anything what he want or what he do to his wife. That time my tears coming out in my eyes. To foriegn guy whose looking for marriage just respect your wife dont try beaten them or slap your wife or insulted her coz we are they same had a feeling i saw some vedios on other site i saw foriegn guy whose not looking serious relationship that guy had 2 ladys in they same country the other one got pregnant and the another one is not. after a few months one know already about his boyfriend that they have two girlfriend that he dated so one girl confronted his boyfriend about their relationship to other girl crying and she move on now. For all guys out there stick to one girl only

They are differently spamming you, also when they just meet you and ask for load because they really like you. They do that to like ten other men also. And if you send them 1500 peso. They will have like 15,000 for one day of spamming. That's more than a monthly income.

She has let me see her family on video chat also. She says that she really wants me to visit her. I'm just wondering though because she has asked me for money. She also said that she felt really bad for asking me and I declined her the first time and she said that she felt bad and didn't want to talk about it anymore, then after that, I sent her the money. But I'm just trying to make sure that I'm not being fooled.

my pinay wife got scammed by some of her pinay friends. even her family. always asking for money. one of her friends borrowed small amounts of money from her to pay for school. but this person was borrowing from all her friends and family and was not going to school. she used the money to party. after a few years, $5000 average is the total she owes to each person she is borrowing from. and of course, scamming lots of foreigners too. non stop. and this scammer had a normal job until she scammed her employer too. but how many did i meet since i met that one? lots. not most, still its to many.

MiraK. ASKAFILIPINA part of what you say is correct but not complete. money is not evil. to be accurate, its to say ' the WANT of money is the root of all evil' that is to say, greed of anything. greed for money, greed for lust, greed for power. greed is evil. not money. apostle paul was a rich man. the disciple that gave jesus his tomb was also a rich man. there are lots of people in the bible that had lots of money that did lots of good things for the right reasons. money is not evil. if you obtain riches honestly, its not a bad thing.

Some guys prefer to get used and cared for and feel important than to be treated like shit by American woman. Girl uses guy, but the guy uses girl too, 2 way street. Guy gives money to Filipina, helps her, and she cares for him and guy feels good about himself. Filipinas want a way out of their misery, AND guys want friendship, love and company they cannot get in America UNLESS they are millionaire and super good looking.

I met a philly girl who told me she loved me to. 5 or 6 times a day she said it. Cammed nearly every day for over 8months. Works in Kuwait and coming home in July. I got a ticket to meet her and she always said.. if you marry me .. you support the whole family. I said i will pay bills and food but not clothing. I will send you support money monthly. That was ok. She was finishing her house and wanted money. I sent her 4.000p one day. And she had the gaul to complain that it wasn't enough. She got 20.000p over time. She was a month from going home. Then she tells me she is staying another 6mths. I got angry. But i said .. i will wait. A week later she said .. seeing you wont buy clothes for her and kids she is gonna end the relationship. I said to her .. i didn't say that. But wouldn't communicate with me again. She told me heaps of times... she is a God fearing girl. What i think she did is .. i told her if she stayed another 6months i wouldn't wait. She wanted to go home and see kids after 2yrs abroad. But seeing i said i will wait for her .. that upset her plans. She wanted me to call it off. But i didn't. So she threw the .. not buying clothes excuse at me and pissed me off. I think she didn't extend her contract but didn't want to meet up with me. So ... it was all a lie .. for them to say ... i love you ... means nothing to them. Such a God fearing girl to. So she said anyhow. But just go to church.. confess her sins .. then free to do it again. I have met her family everyone seemed nice. They forget tho .. you know where they live. Broken heart is one thing .. but getting scammed is something different. Really pisses you off.
