Assalamualaikum and Hai Gaiz!
Bertemu lagi kita di Adx N Stuff. Lama juga gap since the last video ni, apa-apa pun disebabkan aku dah lama tak share tips running, kali ni aku nak share satu tips yang beberapa orang juga pernah tanya aku sebelum ni;
Macam mana nak lari dengan forefoot?!
Sebenarnya tak lah serumit yang korang sangka gaiz, walau apa cara korang berlari pun pasti boleh convert ke forefoot strike if korang training dengan cara-cara mudah yang aku share ni. And yang paling penting ada benefit2 yg korang akan dapat gaiz!
Jadi jom gaiz layan video aku ni sampai habis semoga bermanfaat untuk korang semua. Dan sambil-sambil tu jangan lupa like, subscribe dan share juga gaiz!

Betul apa bro ad ni ckp, bila dah dpt alphafly ni, korang automatically akan senang sikit untuk forefoot strike. Aku pun experience benda yg sama dia ckp sbb aku pun dalam transition dari heel ke forefoot 😂 Sarung AF tak rasa struggle tuk forefoot

@@adxnstuff Maybe you should include your workout numbers next time or there'd be no credible reason for viewers to trust your shoe reviews or running technique advice. Also, there is no single way to run optimally and certainly not just through the forefoot. Some coaches will tell you the safest bet is to land midfoot, so be careful about what you teach people. And 4:30/km for? I can run 3:10/km for a quarter mile but that doesn't mean it's my natural pace.

hye bro, thanks for your feedback. really appreciate it. in some of my videos i did include my sessions/ programs too. while i appreciate your comments, all my videos on this channel are my sharings. there is no reason for anyone to simply believer whatever i’m sharing if they feel that i’m not a credible source. i don’t mind, really. in fact i always emphasize in my videos that these are what i do and it works for me, not necessarily applicable to all runners… BUT, it might also work for some too (and i got positive feedbacks) anyone can try if it works for them while doing their own research too. i always welcome any feedback from others if what i share is wrong too. and if you watched the video, by no means i’m saying that forefoot running is the superior technique compared to the other. But just as i said before, it works FOR ME and also, some runners did ask me if i can share how i train myself to run from heel strike to mid/forefoot strike. Hence this sharing. About the shoe reviews, i’m really not new to all these technologies. Have worn countless running shoes since more than a decade ago and by days of course you can tell the differences of all these shoes features. i’m just sharing in the simpless manner to help runners consider their options (and i do think i have helped a lot of runners too.) And again, you don’t have to believe me if you feel that i’m not credible or can’t run as fast. You can always go to the outlet and try them yourself. Your initial question “how fast are you” directly implied to how fast i can run, that’ll be around 4:30. i’d definitely answered differently if you asked “what’s your natural running pace”. nonetheless huge respect for you for running 3:10 👍🏻 anyways, i’m really sorry if any of my sharings offended you in some way? and… thanks for stopping by ya ✌🏼

@@adxnstuff Thanks for the explanation. Not offended, mate. It’s just that there are too many people giving out running technique tips lately when they’re not certified to, which can be hazardous and increase the risk of injury for people whose natural gait may not entail landing on their forefoot. I’m not in anyway saying you’re bad or reckless, just urging caution. Also on shoes I understand we all have a thing for the latest in running shoes tech but I’m of the opinion it’s much better if people are encouraged to buy shoes that suit them, instead of spending by trend. I’ve seen way too many runners spending so much on expensive shoes (Vapors, Alphas, Metaspeed etc) that are meant for racing yet used for very slow paced-running (so slow that I tend to overtake them even when I intentionally slow down) There are better and far cheaper shoes that can do the job, and I think that’s what shoe reviewers are for. Good solid reliable shoes like the Ride 13 and now the 15 for example, which can do it all and are more suitable for heavier runners (max cushioned shoes are better for lighter runners actually and low and firmer ones better for heavier runners) never got reviewed. Maybe you can change that and we’d see something more ‘grounded’ in proper running. Just my thought :) Cheers

like i said, if anyone feel that what being shared is not up to expectation, or the person sharing is not qualified, just look away. no harm in that. i understand your concern but i guess you’re not watching my videos in its entirety especially the part where i share about individual gait, the way you land, toe off and which shoes are suitable for which type of runners, cause of injuries, etc. it’s ok, you don’t have to. but if you watched my videos, i do encourage runners to pick the shoes suitable with them, pros and cons and whatnot. bro if you haven’t realized most of the viewers come to the channel because they already have what shoes they are considering in mind. hence that’s what they’re typing in the search bar and reach the videos. they want some opinion about ‘that’ specific shoes. just like me before buying any shoes. i’m sharing the reviews of the shoes that i have, that i have tested. while i agree with the shoes you suggested, but i don’t have them, i haven’t tested them. if i have them in my collection or sponsored by to review by those brands or by you, it’ll always be my pleasure to share my thoughts. your observation on ordinary runners buying racing shoes is quite fascinating i see, good for you for being able to overtake then even on the slower pace 👏🏼 . but for me personally , i don’t mind if anyone wanted to try whatever shoes they like, as long as it’s suitable for them and not causing injury. i don’t know if you realized that some people buying these racing shoes not to be competitive, like you i presume. but in a way, they also can reduce their effort to run the same pace. ‘their’ = self satisfaction. they don’t even care if anyone overtake them :) on the other hand, you seem to have a handful of knowledge and experience to be shared with the community. come play your part 💪🏼

Salam abg. Nk tnya, normal ke yg heel striker ni akan sakit tapak kaki depan? Sakit tu tk bole bwak bincang, blarutan. Byk ckp heel striker slalunya sakit lutut, tp jarang yg sakit tapak kaki depan mcm sya. Please any advice

waalaikumussalam, hurmm betul la tu quite pelik juga. kalu forefoot rasa sakit belah depan tak pelik sbb bila heel strike landing, force akan transferred melalui heel ke tibia dan akan ke knee joint. tu yg contribute ke sakit lutut. kalau sakit tapak kaki depan, cuba tengok balik ada possibility tak disebabkan kasut punya fitting x ngam ke, terlalu sempit atau terlalu besar, atau jenis high arch/ flat feet. so bila ada factor2 mcm ni, akan ada possibility utk landing dalam keadaan yang awkward. cuba bro tengok balik

ic2, tu la rasanya most probably sbb cara landing tu bro. kalau bro ada running dynamics pod boleh tengok ground contact time (GCT balance) antara kaki kiri dengan kanan, dekat situ boleh tengok difference dia. kalau tak pun, bro try record side view bro run, lepas tu tengok on slow-motion cara bro landing dgn toe-off antara dua2 belah kaki. no problem bro, small matter je tu. thanks hadir and support bro ✌🏼

waalaikumussalam, yang ni subjektif bro, ikut orang dan ikut sekiranya ada training plan. yg penting adalah, dalam seminggu mesti kena ada recovery day. recovery ni pun tak semestinya terus tak buat apa2. boleh buat light exercise ataupun core training. apa2 pun, matlamat paling penting kita jangan ada injury. kalau ada injury lagi kena rest lama. macam abang, 5 hari seminggu running, lepas tu vary kan jenis run. ada easy, ada interval dan ada long run. leps long run atau interval biasanya rest day.

fuhhh saya punya pb setakat ni pun 48:00 je bro. sekarang ni tengah train utk sub 45:00. bro punya training plan kena masukkan high intensity routine macam interval, speed repeats. pace untuk easy run pun should be around 4:30-5:00

Erm adekah Pace yg sesuai utk Forefoot stride paling slow pn pace 6 la rasenyer kot, sbb klu lebih dari 6, rase tak berapa menjadi sgt, mcm berjalan kaki which is slow n nmpk pelik klu forefoot, adekah mcm tu bro? Ko akitek ka ad siap relate dgn UBBL lg 😆

setuju tu bro, saya masa heel strike pun beberapa kali tangkap kat lutut. macam bro cakap, betis lagi ok, muscle sprain daripada lutut dekat joints. boleh prolonged. lagipun kalau muscle ni with proper and consistent training insyaAllah takde apa dah

betul bro, kalau bro tengok video review AF2 saya after 100km mmg saya mention pasal possibility utk blister ni. sbb AF2 punya upper not as elastic as the first one. even dah break in pun dia still retain dia punya structured design. utk saya, as precaution apa yg saya buat adalah tampal elastic hansaplast dekat area yg potentially blister which is kalau saya dekat both kelingking, then pakai socks yang tak terlalu nipis. lain2 superb

time training ni xde masalah bro, the best kalau boleh non-stop la. tapi kena faham body kita, hydration tu penting, sedangkan kipchoge pun setiap 4km minum 😄 xdehal bro, take your time, jogging pun dah cukup bagus. apatah lagi kalau boleh meet target lsd ✌🏼
