Yeah I didn't think of that for some reason. But don't worry, there's plenty of things to eat in seri islandar. MCD, kfc, subway pizza hut dominoes. There's really good Tom yam and ayam penyet and nasi kukus. There's also Chinese food at tronoh town. In utp, the best food is probably at v5 in my opinion, most variety. There's pizza at v1 as well which is quite ok, and there's alot of Arabic food options in utp. Basically you're covered haha.

Hi there. Tronoh is about a 5 minute drive when you exit left from the UTP entrance.

Nope, in fact unless you're a Petronas scholar, you're not guaranteed to find a placement in Petronas.

Usually to be absorbed into Petronas you either apply through their Graduate employment scheme or you are already a scholar. Studying at UTP does not guarantee you a job at Petronas. But entering into an engineering role in the Oil and Gas industry is not the only option, as there is a wide scope of work you can enter with an engineering background. I am lucky enough to get a position in an MNC that also works in the energy sector and I enjoy it just as much, coming from not getting an opportunity to work in an Oil and Gas company after graduating due to the covid situation. So yes what I can say is do not limit yourself and your scope to only Oil and Gas if you are thinking about Petroleum engineering. Not saying dont go for it, but there’s many options out there as well!
