I very much like tip #4. Very often I need help with a game and so I turn on my second monitor and load up youtube.

I’m so glad that helped! I think that’s an important one to show people.

Nice vid man. I just got mine today and it looks amazing, however I just wanna ask do we need to get a screen protector for my steam deck?

I highly recommend if you want to protect your investment

I got one from Jsaux on Amazon and I just feel better with it. It has pretty low reflectivity and I think is awesome. But still made the screen a little more reflective. Up to you. But I like them on things that big and easy for me to drop. Lol

Thank you so much for the wonderful complement and thanks for watching.

You could've mentioned than motion blur is actually good for 30 fps. Making it look smoother

But that defeats the point of the tip which is trying to get 40hz or higher out of games. 30fps looks shoppe to me no matter what. Better to be smooth than look smooth. Thank you for watching. Good tip for the 30hz players.

Do you need a USB-type C to H DMI cord, to plug the steamdeck into a bigger/separate monitor.... I'm new to the steamdeck

Does a Deck have Tilt Steering? If not, best ways to control a car/ moto
@notquitenerdy2 жыл бұрын
It will depend on games I’m sure but yes the gyro can be used for aiming a shooter or steering a car. You can map the back buttons as paddle shifters I imagine also.

@@notquitenerdy ok…are you up for trying that in a game like Project Cars to show us? I am a little different to the rest of you😁- I live off grid so have to watch every Watt. When I had a house I had a PS4 ( and wheel/ pedals)and only had 2 games😆, Project Cars 2, and GTA V. I sold that set up. Now I am off grid I am looking at buying a Deck, as the power consumption vs. a gaming laptop ( or PC plus monitor) is very good! But what holds me back is how I can play driving games easily?

@@notquitenerdy I have searched high and low on YT for a video of Deck with tilt steering, so you may have a blockbuster on your hands if you post a video on the subject😎

@@richardsracingmad The challenge here is recording the games being used with gyro controls. And yes, games can be configured to use gyro controls or activating gyro controls, as demonstrated in Desk Job. But it is up to the user acclimating to it. I have seen use of gyro controls in first person and third person shooters when firing, and can be more precise than joysticks or trackpads with enough muscle memory and arms stamina training.
