Thanks lots for the 3 key tips. I have an interview with a commercial agency within a week. Considering I am starting in the industry my contacts are limited. However, I have been taking commercial and acting classes and will use them for now. Thanks again..

Amy, do you have any videos on having an "acting name"? and how to fill out important documents with this name, when to use your real name, how to bring up your acting names at auditions, which name to slate? etc...

What if you are just starting. How do you start making connections? And how do you even get booked with little to no experience ?
@AHam-re9zy7 жыл бұрын
Rae Marie try finding some local agencies and send in your CV, they may take you, they may not. Go to classes and open workshops, follow casting agencies on social media and get in contact with them.

Hi Amy, I like the approach and tip given towards this video, great. One brief question though like ask to know and understand clearly and better, if by breaking it down to me on what you said on the last tip bout doing your homework and what an agent or manager represent part how specifically or clearly mean on that point, exactly?

I need advice. I got an email from an agency saying I had secured a meeting! But they said that jobs for my age group are low so they aren't particularly looking for kids my age. How should i stand out??

I have a very important question. When submitting to an agent through email, what do they want you to put in the subject? They're not specific on their websites, but what do you prefer to see in the subject line? Also i know usually they want a headshot, reel, and resume, but do they want you to type something in the body of the email? Like a cover letter?

Great information. However, noise from the mic rubbing against your top was a little distracting for me (I have a little ADD) :-) But as always excellent and interesting.

Ugh. I noticed that after I got it back from editor Steven. Grrr. But no time to reshoot and I wanted to get it out. So, there ya go! Thanks for watching anyway!

I understand. It wasn't too bad. Most people probably didn't notice or thought it was interference or outside noise. By the way, I not only appreciate your advice, but I also enjoy your energy and attitude on these Acting Tips of the Day. Blessings; Steven Brown www.stevenbrown.org/home.htm
