But the hat can't go - it's in the contract. And so the director and the producers start feuding - all the way to the editing room. Where they take the director's cut of “a raucous comedy about little people f***ing each other” and make it into a romantic comedy. Director wants his name off the movie, can't because rules, slams producers at Sundance - never works again.

Anyway, they can tell head and limb growth with ultrasound.
@azraelmacool319415 күн бұрын
Yeah, my memory at the time when it came out was, little people groups mostly denounced it for inaccurate info. I guess it’s basically impossible for their baby to have dwarfism because if both of his parents had it, and he doesn’t, it means he doesn’t have the gene at all, and stuff like that.

@RoganBitsАй бұрын
@@Yankee_Doodle_Dandy I thought so too; but it's more complex than that. He doesn't want them portrayed as living in caves, mythical creatures...but it's all very muddy water, and it honestly feels like he said something off hand that is correct, and then people jumped on it, and turned it into something else. I found the original audio; and it's not nearly what people are claiming. He said "it feels backwards for dwarves to live in caves while you cast a latino snow white." and he was pointing out how in one direction they are making 'progress' by hiring the latino woman, but then show backwards progress for little people. I don't know man, it's a very off hand comment, and it is taken from a conversation he was having, and he then said he would be 'all in' for a progressive remake (in regards to how they depict dwarves). It's like if me and you are talking about cops; and I say I don't like them, but they serve a purpose, and you turn around and say 'RoganBits says all cops need to be fired!' They misrepresented what he said, and what his intent was. That's why I'm having trouble describing it for you; despite having read articles and heard the original audio. It would be more honest to say 'Peter has concerns regarding depictions of dwarves', and less honest to say what they claim was said.
