@@TimelapseTruckerRTOT you betcha I was thought to never go back to ur truck unless you re just pulling the 24 mid or low . The reason for it is going back to your truck with a jeep maximizes the chances of that front end being picked up and slammed to the jeep Soon as the load pick up its tail from the ground and it’s icy or mucky it would make you go into a zig zag till that load hits the ground . So always always went back to my jeep .cheers bud

we have 3 but once was 4. they are worth there weight if they are cared for. i used to be pro cat till i drove cummins n14. if im sleeping in it, i like cat, and like the reliability of the cat, thats it, my driving style suits cummins and prefer it in the bush, i wish it was smoother sitting still and failure is always around the corner

Probably too late now, but some chequer plate aluminium (diamond plate alloy) tread strip's on top of those painted rear guard would be a simple solution to the slickness issue. Same for the corner of the covered tray frame, just wrap the edge no more wear issues.

I’m not in the industry, trucking or O&G. It’s pretty neat to see that the majority of trucks are KW. Do you see many Western Stars? I noticed there were some WS bed trucks. Why do guys prefer stick still, other than it’s more fun to row gears? It’s not like any heavy equipment use manuals anymore. Looks like a mucky job. Never fun to use the clapped spare truck at work. Straight pipes sound cool for the first 2 minutes then are super annoying. Sweet video man!

yeah the need to float on mud. get er done in much less time then we used to use beds and a cat to push and winch stuff into place. took so long, so we put floater tires on stuff and made them AWD, problem solved for the most part, every rig moving company has one if you want the work, so work at one of those place and wait your turn, the top bed hands all earned this
