Tire falls off United flight departing SFO, crushing several vehicles in parking lot, company says

A tire fell off a United Airlines flight taking off from SFO to Osaka, Japan Thursday morning, officials confirmed. SKY7 was over a parking lot nearby, where it appears the tire hit and damaged cars.

Wheels don't just fall off these birds it's unheard of. Some United Airlines Maintenance technician will probably lose their job over this and they should. The entire wheel came off not just the tire.
