I run Michelin Xi-3’s in everything. They work amazing, are very quiet, have a beautiful smooth ride and best of all, they last 35-40,000 miles!!!!

Great tire! A lifesaver in our extreme winters.

I have use X-ice xi3 for over a year during both winter and summer. It drives and handles like an all season tire. The only drawback is that the tires have some wind noise over certain type of pavements. Other than that, I have no problem with the summer performance of the xi3. I have just bought the WS80 for another car, so I cannot wait to try it

Would you even consider your season summer when there’s snow?!
@hammertimee7775 жыл бұрын
@@Systolic120mmHg Yes, because it could get up to 90 degrees in summer. Only in certain terrains and altitudes that we have snow. It's very common. Even in California there are areas with snow year round lol

I drive a Hyundai Elantra and i am considering buying a set of winter tires so its nice to see the tires being used on the Elantra. Definitely going to look into buying Michelin X-ice's

My local Chevy dealership will not sell these tires saying that " they are too hard for a winter tire and are not safe. Get Blizzak instead. " Can you tell me why they are saying this???

If you live in a town where it snows nearly all season long then blizzaks are your choice. If not the x ice is supreme.
@notslickgaming60155 жыл бұрын
@@MrDaxter32 Exactly. Where I live it snows once in a while, but the melt/freeze cycle that happens after that makes for unpredictable ice conditions in many areas. The xice also has better tread wear and performs almost as well at 4/32 as brand new. BLizzak's sipes don't go down as deep so you'll be left with just blocks as they wear, and they have no mileage warranty while the xice has a 40,000 mile warranty.

I've driven with Pirelli ice zero, Hankook ipike and now with michelin x -ice. I have to say that the pirelli ice zeros are far better than michelin xice but the hankook ipike's were the worst of the three
@coryswinerton32965 жыл бұрын
naremis The X-ice work FAR better than Pirellis on icy and slushy conditions. In DEEP snow, the I-pikes will pull a tad better through the deep stuff. Deep snow isn’t very common where I am.

Absolute rubbish - I think there's no difference from all-season tires. And they're almost new - I'm sliding like hell and have no idea why. When I bought them I was delighted by nice reviews and the soft rubber of the tire (so it seemed) - but after the freezing temperatures and snow hit Montreal, man.... the only thing missing are some reindeers pulling and a red suit. Grip is horrible in all winter conditions: snow, slush, ice - the only close-to-decent performance is on dry road. There has to be a trick or something to improve their grip, maybe they will get better as they wear...? Or I could try to enlarge the threads and sand the surface of the tire?
