Thanks for clearing this major issue in my game up. Your approach has already lowered my stress on the course a good bit. Now I going to stop all the attempted hero shots that I pull off maybe 1 out of 10 times and aim for the fat part of the fairways and greens. You are such a breath of fresh air my friend!!!

Amen, brother. This is a lesson hard learned for so many of us. Years of trying to pound the ball is over for me. Relaxed golf means finding the sweet spot more often, it truly is a revelation once you take this approach. I refer to this as "owning my game". Thanks Jim, loving the my results thanks to JVGA! 🤟

Thank you so much. I really needed this advice/information. I started golf kinda late. I was 45 when I started. That was in the year 2000. It took me 3 years of golfing 5 days a week, sometimes twice a day to get to around a 4 handicap. I stayed at a 2-6 handicap until around 2015. After about 15 years of a lot of golf I was struggling to break 80. My handicap kept getting higher and higher. My body was falling apart. That was my excuse anyway. So in 2017 I stopped golfing. I tried to golf a couple of times since then, but it was awful both times. Couldn't even do 9 holes . I am going to try again after I listen to this video a few more times to get my mind ready to play like I used to. Like I know I can play...

Your approach is greatly appreciated. I've been following you around since the GTD series. Glad to see you putting out more relatable golf practices. Im using these thoughts and swings now more often and I'm not afraid to club up or down.

I was on a golf simulator this weekend, and I played on a 5900 yd 18 hole course. That’s my skill set. Average 200 off the tee. Played bogey golf.

Jim, I'm hitting it solid from a closed stance, however on video I struggle to clear my hips in the downswing. Is this a problem and do you have any advice on this?

Shot 84 on a former PGA tour stop course, men’s tees, using nothing longer than a 7i. 29 putts, won the foursome against guys using driver every hole. Easy no-stress old man golf 😂
