As someone who is adopted, this made me cry. She has such a big heart. My parents adopted me and my sister since they couldnt physically have kids. We are still a family tho and they have given me so much. My birth mum didnt put me up for adoption on purpose but the hospital i was born at deamed her unfit to take care of me. I dont know anything really about her, but i hope shes safe and i hope she knows i dont blame her for not being ready to take care of me. This video always brings tears to my eyes

I know I’m super late but I just read your comment and wanted to say I’m someone who had to give my baby up for adoption. I was too young and not mentally or financially able to provide for her like she deserved. My deepest hope is that she loves and appreciates her parents the way you do. I agree. They opened up their house, their space, their privacy, to take in 3 kids who were soon to be forever stuck in the foster system. They've now got a forever home with people who'll love them forever. All those kids are like they've known each other forever. I'm sure they have their moments like any kids do, but they seem to just fit right in with the other 5 kids as if they're all brothers and sisters, as it should be...no his, hers, or theirs...perfect.

This is my favorite Christmas time story it gets me every year when I see it. I’m not afraid to admit I cry like a little baby every time I watch it. As somebody who suffers with watching their own mom struggle with her health and come close to dying several times this really hit home. Last year we almost lost my mom to a massive heart attack. I’ll never forget her calling me on the phone telling me I need to have quadruple bypass and the doctor says he doesn’t think I’m gonna live through the surgery. I’ll never forget the day before that surgery we sat in that hospital room holding hands doing nothing but crying we didn’t even say anything to each other nothing needed to be said because just holding each other’s hands and crying was enough for both of us to know that we met so much to each other
