It looks awesome - I really love that vintage gold look.
@thewholecut Жыл бұрын
Yeah man vintage looks modern build quality. The best of both worlds!
@alb.40898 ай бұрын
I have one myself. Everything you said is correct. For me, if they got rid of the butterfly clasp and used a deployment clasp with micro adjustment it would be the perfect watch.
@thewholecut8 ай бұрын
Yeah the bracelet looks incredible but the lack of micro adjustment is a real trade off. If only someone could design a butterfly clasp with micro adjustment!

i got the powermatic for a daily wear. it holds up amazingly well. I was looking for a 70s vintage watch and settled on this because it works. lol

Great video! I always wondered how the PVD coating would last long term. Have you seen any fading where your garments rub the watch and bracelet?
@thewholecut9 ай бұрын
Thanks! No it still looks perfect to my eyes. I don’t wear it everyday but I probably wear it more than any other watch I own.
@jangyeongri66302 ай бұрын
Do you wear it everyday? Where's the scratch and tarnish? Mine was tarnished and scratched
@thewholecut2 ай бұрын
No since I own lots of watches but it is my most worn watch probably once or twice a week 👍

So is there any way to adjust the bracelet at all? Or its a no no?
@thewholecut Жыл бұрын
Yes of course sorry if I wasn’t clear in the video. You can remove links like a normal bracelet. There are full links and half links but you might find yourself between sizes if that makes sense? That’s what I was trying to say in the video. Cheers, Louis.
@richiemd777 Жыл бұрын
@thewholecut oh ok. That make sense. So it's still like by push pins. Not like it's stuck or permanent.
@thewholecut Жыл бұрын
Yes that’s right just normal push pins. You can easily do it yourself with some cheap tools off Amazon or whatnot 👍
@diaks777 Жыл бұрын
How do you rate the quality of the gold coating?
@thewholecut Жыл бұрын
It’s very good. I’ve been wearing mine regularly for about 18 months now and there’s no signs of any wear at all just a few light scratches. It’s much better than the gold plated Invicta I have which is marked where the links in the bracelet rub together for example.

Yeah it’s fine I’ve worn it a lot and not had any problems still works like the day I got it 👍
@alb.40898 ай бұрын
It's good you get used to it. Sometimes it digs into your wrist. If they used a micro adjustment clasp it would be a such a huge improvement.

That would be pretty cool! I would love to see Tissot go a bit wild and use stone dials like Rolex does. I think a plain onyx dial with no minute/hour markers would look awesome. Cheers, Louis.
