Fear, thats how you beat bad tone players, I have played the Free weekend on Xbox and I have seen alot of people run out from the barrier if you get Close. Ronin can be Good if the tone stays put and is alone, tone with backup and at range, flank. Just ideas however. :/

Zappie Roth132 Still it depends on the range, ronin can phase dash to break locks so in THEORY you can get close, unload the leadwall Take two rounds from tone, phase dash through/closer as you reload and unload again, using dashes and ronins abilities as you need to. mind you IN THEORY. Thank you frothy for harping on the auto chip and auto eject. It so annoying when I am jumping into an LTS game and see people with those in. Honestly I dont use anything except dash core on all my titans. It is always able to help you out and get you in and out of tough situations.

nuke eject is another one that is mildly useful but rarely works...it does work, but they must be severely distracted...or stuck in a core where they can't dash away or run, like a laser core or a smart core or even a flight core

North star needs a buff to her primary weapon. Either make it hit-scan with better sights while aiming/charging it up. Or make the charge up times slightly faster. ( I feel as though an uncharged shot is neutered damaged wise.) The former or latter can also improve her ability to handle pilots.

I already knew half of this stuff, but I can also provide an example to help In the last minute of round 5 of a match, the other team only had 1 Titan/1 pilot left against me and my Titan. My opponent was a couple health bars away from being doomed. So I got away in my scorch and got out to start looking for batteries. My team was freaking out but by the end of the round I had gotten a little bit more health back than the other team had. We won the match by retreating

I hide my titan in the most smallest part the second i spawn. I then get out of my titan while its crouching and put in on guard mode. I then run around, poking the enemy titans around while my teammates cause the most damage. And if im the last one standing, i still just poke them around while my teammates with mics laugh as they see my camping on the other side of the map. Almost gets em evrytime

what I do is I use nuke eject and the reflex perk on ronin, my friend plays Northstar and covers me while simultaneously creating a distraction and also getting the enemy team bunched up I flank and then rush in and once I get doomed I phase to the middle and eject, killing a lot and also damaging others, I've wiped full teams before, but this is also very situational and will only work a couple times per game, when it stops working, I still flank i just try to get in close and do as much damage as possible, I play ronin religiously

FrothyOmen, look I got something to say, and please if you can see the validity of what I'm going to say, bf4 is doing well because they have servers that cater to new players, so if your new and want to play you can choose to play on servers on your level or play with everyone else, some server say if your skill level is above a certain point you will be kicked of the server, leaving all the new players to play themselves, and old players like me that still love playing the game, and not having awesome players killing them all the time. Getting killed all the time is not a good incentive to play the game and not good for sales too, because the way it is now all players good or bad are all being thrown in the same arena it not fair to everyone, the real good player get more kills that maybe if they was playing with player of their own caliber they never would have gotten, and the detrimental effect on a person who just bought the game thinking I'm going to play and gets killed in 2 seconds is catastrophic for new players, and some like some of my friends don't seem to play at all they say they do but never see them play, see on bf4 I was able to play with players at my level, and surprisingly enough I made it to Major General, and then titanfall 2 came out and so here am I. We need something like that server to cattier to new player,

I don't think Assault Chip makes enough difference to matter. If you have a Titan you should be using it which means you want a Kit that does something(Turbo Engine) rather than one that only functions when not in your Titan. Otherwise you give away free Attrition Points(I think you get some Cash in Bounty Hunt too).

That does seem like a horrible strategy. You need to get yourself doomed, _then_ get in position to eject _and kill more than one titan,_ all without getting shot to death or executed. If you don't manage to get at least two, you're just down in titan count. And most players know how to avoid nuke eject fairly well.

I feel like it's mostly a hindrance. You're not going to get regular value out of it, and the times that you do get value it may not even be that good anyways. An extra dash, or a free 30% on your core is a tangible buff that you will very regularly get value from, and honestly, with how overpowered most cores are in this game, getting them 30% faster is often going to equal more damage than a nuclear eject anyways :D

Frothy will almost be the first to admit, that Gamesager is probably better at a lot of aspects of the game. Frothy makes top notch videos, and he loves to meme and run like a roadrunner, but Gamesager dominates most of the games he's in. From what i can tell it doesn't even matter if he plays on console or PC.

+MiBasse I agree with most of what you said. Frothy seems to be less "competitive", or at least less try-hard when he's just pubbing, so you don't always see his top-notch play. I would say Frothy is the better mover and has more precise aim (he pretty much is the reason they nerfed the amped charge hack charge rifle), but Gamesager has better map awareness, is more aggressive at finding victims, and usually racks up monster kills--with a controller. But yeah, Frothy's video quality (and personality, to be honest) is far superior to Gamesager, who is basically a super-skilled Twitch teeny-bopper (just made up that term, not sure if it fits).

I have used Assault Chip in LTS before, but it's not because I think it's good. I'm actually attempting to 100% the multiplayer Banners and Patches, and I've been using LTS to bump up my anti-titan weapon XP. For anyone else who may be attempting this, I have a few tips: 1) Assists count as weapon XP again. This means as long as you get a single hit with an AT weapon on a Titan, you'll get XP. 2) Pilot kills with AT weapons count (but it's easier said than done, especially with the Archer Rocket). 3) In order to get the assist, the Titan you hit must actually die! If it survives the round, no weapon XP for you. 4) The assist point will go towards whatever weapon you used LAST. This is by far the trickiest rule. If you hit a Titan with an AT weapon, then it dies, you're good. If you hit it with an AT weapon and then a grenade, you get no XP. If you hit it with an AT weapon, then a Primary Weapon, that PW will get the XP. If you hit it with an AT weapon, then YOUR TITAN hits it, YOUR TITAN will get the XP and not the AT weapon!

This is my favorite and my most played mode but respawn has ruined it, its now the first team to 3 instead of 4 now the mode is much shorter and there are no longer next round wins for both teams, it was awesome being in games that went 3 for 3 leaving 1 last tense round i really hope they change it back but i doubt it. #sadtimes :(

Well I think a lot of people get too aggressive because they want to have the highest kill number lol. They feel like they look bad if they don't have a certain number. I know I've been guilty of this a few times, before I started playing Northstar which forced me to.... not have this habit anymore. I personally feel like one of the biggest problems in LTS is people not working as a team, and instead splitting up across the map. Not that splitting off is an inherently bad thing, but I see a lot of people get destroyed trying to do it at the beginning of a match.

I wish you would of mentioned Nuke Eject. It's a really bad kit that wont ever kill good players yet there's this huge subset of players(reddit...) who think it's overpowered and incredible. I have had games where I don't understand why we won. For example, here's how a match went the other night in terms of the round wins: - 1. Enemy team won 2. Tie (1 titan left on each team, both doomed, time ran out) 3. We won 4. Enemy team won 5. We won Result = A win for us, despite it being 2-2 with 1 round tied. 75% of all LTS games: Your team runs into the enemy frontlines completely uncoordinated, gets killed, and you are the last titan standing in your team against 4 enemies. Or your team scatters all around the map, refuses to play as a team, runs through the particle shield you just created to protect them, goes into close range combat as a northstar, etc. At least the enemys are equally retarded most of the time ^^

Well i know its use less to say but you have to be skilled with your titan, stick with the titan your good at!!! Also use turbo engine on every titan, don't use kits like nuclear ejections or auto eject. TAKE AS LESS DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE WHILE DOING DAMAGE TO ENEMY TITANS, if camping is the case then camp, i usually go for rush. Use your titan effectively. If your using legion, play defense, ronin offense, again take as less damage as possible while doing damage to enemy titans. Another cheap way is to use overpowered titans, like tone, or legion, if you want to win so bad. I go for ion these days since i'm skilled with its shoulder cannon, ion can be so dangerous of you know how to use it, most people don't, that's why people go for tone, which gets boring over time, i tend to switch up using ion or legion.

Everything you said was right except "Use turbo engine on every titan". Double smoke is more effective on titans that do not rely on speed (aka northstar or ronin). During the end of the match I always see retards getting rodeoed because they used up all their smoke or just arent smart enough. Hence, where the second smoke comes in. Smoke can also be used for damage when you are getting attacked point blank by a titan or have it sandwiched between you and the wall. Ion is definitely the best titan in the game hands down. Im glad people like you can see that ;D

I play lts for the most time and pilot isn't really a big deal for me, they can't kill your titan like in tf1, in tf1 they rodeo you and your titan dies and their anti titan weapon was wayy more powerful than in this game, also smoke is nerfed in this game than in tf1.

I love LTS, I've played Bounty Hunter but it's so easy, no one pays the obj that I got bored, LTS on the other hand helps me get better at match ups and routes with my Ronin. I'm Gen 8.8 currently and my only problem is Pilots ejecting out of their Titan and winning because there are 2-3 pilots with MGL overpowering a Titan. I play on Xbox one and the lowest I see online for this game mode is 168 and that's 9am on a Thursday but fucking Christ I've studied and figured out how to outplay/ out maneuver any titan but once he ejects I'm dead. Looking at every nook and cranny for these pesky mosquitos with grenade launchers that do more damage out their Titan than in. I thought this was called Last "Titan" Standing not Last Pilot Standing. So my only problem solver is to Execute every titan I see but then for some reason I get messages calling me a kill stealer? This game mode is fun but holy shit Pilots ruin it, you should only get out just to get a battery other than that every map should have some poison fog like in the Campaign where you have to stay in your Titan because slowly on Xbox One people are just docking their Titan in a safe weird spot, and instead shooting t Titans from rooftops, it's a sound strat but it defeats the purpose of the game mode, I want to test my skills against other Titans not constantly running in fear because that (insert Titan) Pilot has a grenade/rocket launcher.

and stop backing out for the love of god, and don't leave your teammates...and don't run around the map to try and flank a spawn while your team gets bulldozed...and use addition and subtraction (if you and a friendly titan are running around looking for a fight...that means you left 3 of your teammates to fight 5 other titans, find them quick)

also, don't allow a doomed titan to fight you long range...even if you're doomed, close the distance and try to terminate, by not doing so, both of you are earning your core back, closing the distance adds a new level of tension and anxiety. plus if you terminate you might snatch them out of their core.

If you want to get triggered, play amped hardpoint.. You'd think it was rocket science for these people.. People literally will camp outside a point to get kills or sit inside of their titan while an enemy amps a point right next to them, it will blow you mind so hard your skull will explode, maybe you should do a tips and tricks on that mode, although its literally the easiest game mode to understand, some people REALLY don't get it lol

Good time to try out these slot machines then. Autoeject is a plague in LTS. Hell, even without autoeject people still try to exit their doomed titan when they are, in fact, last titan standing.
