What I love is that Monarch is truly a mixed bag for a Titan. You can play her as a support Titan, you can play her as a medium, or you can play her as an unstoppable tank/DPS Titan It all depends on your playstyle, and I feel that's exactly was TF2 needed

The way I run Monarch is usually well balanced with missile racks, reload and rearm, and Chaingun accelerator. It lets me deal with most situations that I find myself in. Pilots are taken out by both the chaingun and missiles. For titans, I have really good close range damage, as well as good mid range damage with chaingun.

I play on Xbox, and I've found that arc rounds do significant damage to Tone's Particle Wall and Legion's gun shield. I just peek my gun over cover and shoot at the corners of the shields and they go down within a third of the rounds. Also, I find it helps with getting core faster because there are more things to shoot with the Xo-16 than there are with the salvo rounds. Getting to the accelerator upgrade is super useful against every titan because of how much damage you do. It does just less than lethal damage but most of the time that is not a problem because of teammates assisting.

Arc rounds help against ion, they drain energy from her vortex shield, meaning she can't keep it up long. And for ion, that's a big thing.

I like to use arc rounds with the mod accelerator in the 3rd upgrade, like being a supportive monarch to take down all these shields, especially ions which is the most annoying

Missile racks only do a bunch of Danae to stoning if they are not using sword block, cuz I play ronin, and I go up to a monarch with a sword block and barely any damage is taken

salvaginezzeb lar arc rounds does more damage against shields not necessarily extra damage to titans themselves, but the X-16 accelerator does change that giving it extra damge

I feel so bad for the enemy team. Probably just a bunch of beginners. I'd be so demotivated after a round like that. I've gotten my ass kicked so many times, but I've never played a Titan Brawl match from the beginning without ending up with at least 1 kill at the end.

I know this is allot to ask of a KZbin Comments Section but when is the Monarch at it's weakest? All I see when I watch/fight Monarchs is stuns, self healing, and constant damage output. How does one engage a Monarch? Are you just supposed to have 2 V 1 whenever encountering one? I don't get it. The Monarch seems too powerful compared to the rest, but I have not mastered all of the Titans so take that with a grain of salt. Ronan can't block the lightning with sword so that limits him getting in close and Tone can hide around corners and Sonar Track with Missile follow up but after one volley Monarchs would be healed or just have run away by the time the cool down for Sonar is up for another volley of missile. Are Monarchs weak against a specific Titan class?

Sorry Frothy, it has to be arc rounds over rockets. Rockets have one primary quality, they miss. A lot. Arc rounds have a disruptive effect can be swiftly reloaded and can track a moving enemy whereas rockets, miss.

well, I often find Ions love to push (or lead a push) with their obnoxious shield... + Ions are by far the best Titan and arc rounds are their only weakness... I find its a must have if the other team runs Ions
