These ships (including Titanic) were built in the Edwardian/Victorian era (AKA the golden era of ship building). But after the depression, that era was killed off due to the stock market crash and everything finance related was put to a grinding halt as stocks plummeted.

If you're wondering why the ship is listing a little? It's actually quite common with ships. With Titanic it was because they had to move coal up to the port side coalbunker due to the coal fire onboard. It wasn't a big one but it was noticable.
