I remember that Titanic was the last movie my grant-grant-parents watched in cinema. A year later they were both gone, but after watching this movie they said it was so realistic and all the costumes and the athmosphere reminded them of the time they were young. Both were allready alive in 1912 and remembered that time.

My mother hadn’t been to the cinema since she was a young girl. I took her to watch this film as she called it, she was now in her early 70s and at the end said she enjoyed it, when we stood up to leave everyone was rushing to get out and it caused a bottle neck at the exit, I pushed my way through with my mother and when we got close to the exit I raised my voice and said let this women through she’s a survivor and everyone stepped aside and we both walked through with a grin and a smile . She has now passed away and is in endless peace. (RIP) mom,, your loving son 💐x

I will say this, thank you to James Cameron for just one thing - For making the film. No I don't think its because it would make him famous/rich. No. Far from it..... I thank him because otherwise I wouldn't have known about the Titanic..... Here's to the 1912 ship.... TItanic... As a child, I had an absolute fascination with the Titanic which would later branch out into many of the Atlantic Crossing Ocean Liners / Blue Riband Competitors/Holders. My Grandfather only helped to encourage this fascination and love of Liners to bloom, by gifting me plenty of literature, early films and photographs on the Titanic - among other things. When this released in cinemas in December 1997, he took Me to see it. I was 6 at the time. Just Me and Him. It's one of the many memories that I treasure and hold dearly to this day. Since his passing on 27/02/2017 My heart has been broken ever since. This song touches me in ways very few songs can. It brings up a mix of emotions both beautiful and mournful and I ache for the day that We shall be reunited. If I'm ever feeling alone, or lost and confused, I know that I can listen to this tear-jerking masterpiece and have myself a good solid cry as I reminisce of better times. Not a day has gone by that You don't cross my mind, You beautiful soul. I love you Gramps, forever and always.

This song visualises the depth & mysteries of the ocean as humans only explored 5% of the ocean. This song describes the information contained within the ocean which is buried in the ocean forever including love.

My great grandmother and great great grandmother were survivers of the titanic my great grandmother told me the story of what happened when I was a small child and it was terrifying she was talking about the last moments of the people who didn't make it and it literally ate a hole in my heart some take it as disrespect about them wanting to rebuild the titanic but I take it as history getting to meet my great grandmother who survived was a honor may she rest in peace now

What a wonderful video, the music is so ethereal. We mourn for the people who died in the great ship. And we remember the great story forever.

Well said swell but, no offence but u said " we mourn for the people who died in the Titanic" so ur really saying the people who drowned in the titanic ( inside) and ur not mourning for the people who froze in the water? No offence but I was just saying, and u would say " we mourn for the people who died when the great ship sank" or something don't take it personal its just I wanted to say so u knew:-) :-) :-) plz don't hate me

I love how this track specifically doesn’t show up in the film like obviously the melodies do. This was just James horners way of remembering those 1500+ innocent souls that perished RIP to all those who died as well as James who composed this beautiful piece

When I hear this song, it always fills the gaps inside of me and makes me have a stronger connection with Titanic. When I hear this song, I feel relaxed and very calm. It’s so musical and creative and at the same time, I am reminded of Titanic and those who perished. This song is very unique, exquisite, and inspirational.

What a great song to capture the importance and significance of this ship. It was a ship full of hopes dreams crushed by an iceberg. Lot of powerful people and lot of general people so divided while on ship. But at the end both kinds went down same way

I like the instrumental of the song, I like to believe that it’s just Celine’s voice that ruins it for me imo

I prefer the instrumental versions because she does not lead into her falsettos and it ruins the mood.

Through many parts of your life you can understand "Titanic" different way anytime you watch it again. When I was little and I watched it for a first time was hard to find people not in tears in the cinema including me. Who knows..maybe till today people has same reaction being moved of watching it. One is sure , love always is beautiful no mother of realies and time of it.

When the Titanic went down she took with her the lives of many brave people including her entire complement of engineers under the control of Joseph Bell, the Chief Engineer Officer. His staff consisted of 24 engineers, 6 electrical engineers, two boilermakers, a plumber and his clerk. In addition many of the firemen and coal trimmers were lost. #ProudToBeAMarineEngineer

Nobody realises how deeply involved the Irish were in that ship until they hear this. Titanic, regardless of whether media calls it a British ship, I and a million other Irish people will always refer it to as Irish. It was built by Harland & Wolff in Belfast, Ireland by Irishmen and yet 129 of its native people died aboard it. The one forgotten story of Titanic is that of the workers who built Titanic. Listen to it, it'll explain it a lot better.
@charlieminaj220 күн бұрын
The story behind the titanic is tragic because it involves the banks and government working ie a conspiracy to cause and effect of the proceeding in Ireland Britian couldn’t get over that Ireland built the most expensive, and most recognised ships in the world, it was a wartime ship, there’s more than just what the Hollywood movie industry films
