Titanic model in scale 1:200 with lighting

RMS Titanic model 1:200 scale model of the ship Titanic - plastic model based on the Trumpeter kit and add-on kits Ka-Models, MiniBrass and Pontos. Very high detail, since many parts are printed on a high-quality 3D printer, laser cut and made by photo-etching. The cameron model for the movie (1/20 scale) for me is the most perfect model ever made of Titanic. Even better than the builders models made by harland and wolf. But this kit wins the second place, i agree.

@@laislabella Cameron’s movie model is SUPER outdated though. Lots of inaccuracies since it was built with information from the 90’s. Most perfect model is probably Jason King’s 1:72 scratch built model. It is extremely accurate.

@@IllBushido Cameron's model Most based on olympic than titanic. But despite this, the relation size-acuracy-detailed was the most well completed, my opinion, at this giant scale (cameron's model is 1/20 scale!!!) The cameron's model looks realistic, like a real ship, but jason's model looks as a model. (I think Jason's model is a impressive work too...). But i think Cameron's model is best for a representative of the Olympic Class in general terms, because they lost some Titanic specific details, and the model was based 90% on Olympic info avaiable.

Their is a colour photo of a ship in dry doc ,behind it is a building, and behind that you can see 3 of the 4 funnels of the Olympic , its the only colour photo showing the Olympics funnels , i think it was taken just before the ship was mothballed, if you look at the revel model kit , thats the shape of them.

Very nice build. Where did you get 1:200 people? The closest I know about are model train 1:160 N scale which are 25% bigger. Maybe it doesn't matter enough with only 2 mm difference.

The effect is negated in daylight. And the Titanic was not fully booked when it sailed so not all of the below decks cabin portholes were lit.

Just another question 😊 what color did you use for the lower part of the hull? The "red" part. Cause it looks soooo realistic. I have the same model as you but not as detailed as yours. But my lower part of the hull is a little bit to red. Was looking for a darker tone like yours here. Wanna spraypaint my lower hull again into the color you used 🙂
