Glad you are able to find these collaborators that seem a good fit for the project. To be frank, none of Mira stuff is of any interest to me. However, the fact that they helped you out with certain aspects of p401 and even lent you people is respectable of them and worth a lot, so I'm happy this partnership happened. If there are big benefits such as these without any drawbacks, the more the merrier I say!

Wow that french cafe is amazing. I dont think i knew about the cafe until 2012 when we learned what happened to the main boss and all the waiters. They all were lost Did the ship have a barber shop or clothing store? All this time i never heard about those places.

This a very good news regarding acessablity and how working with Mira has helped with development. It's nice to have official VR support, even with limited areas. It would be great to have a VR experience were you can explore the ship similar to Demo 3, hopefully something we can see officially in the final THG game. Then again from what I understand 401 can be used in VR unofficially.

I believe they already did? I think I remember them saying once they were working with someone to model characters for them. Not 100% sure, though.

I'm sure they'd love to, but it gets impossible with modelling, animating and voicing over 2000 or even 200 people with quality anywhere near to the rest of the ship (we're talking tens of millions of dollars) and it would not be profitable whatsoever. Additionally (James talked briefly about this when they announced their shift toward a museum experience) you'd have to model many of the people after the likeness of their real-life counterparts and that is quite a dodgy territory both in terms of ethics and costs. There could be other issues as well (maybe even legal?).

@@History401 Yes, but it was many, many years ago. Back then Tom still lead the project and wanted an adventure story. This was before they shifted the project to a museum experience and switched to Unreal Engine 5, i.e. this was scrapped. The models did not look great though, so nothing to be sad about...

YES finally on phone. even if its just cloud based. still great. also please continue to add support for ARM based devices cus as we all know macs run on arm now and windows is not far away. this May 20th microsoft will announce ARM products. laptops to begin with. but yeah x86 is slowly starting to die. so would be great to have ARM support

Consistent wouldn't quite describe it. 95% of our team are volunteers. The rest certainly don't make more than a few hundred a month. It's nice to pay a bill or two, but this project is not lucrative in any way and we don't ever expect it to be. Too niche a product for an already small market!

I don’t see this as a lucrative project to make. Without donations a lot of these projects that aren’t marketable to a larger audience wouldn’t be made. It’s exiting for us history buffs. Yup, it's hilarious to see people get excited about this project again when THG emerges from their on-and-off again hibernation. I was very underwhelmed to the update of the demo (that took over a year btw) the stained glass windows look better but thats about it. And btw, THG demos arent even the most accurate playable titanic models anymore.
