I highly recommend A Night to Remember by Walter Lord, as it is probably the best book on Titanic I've ever read. Especially since he was able to interview some of the survivors.

I also became fascinated with the Titanic when I was in middle school…I watched an old movie called “A Night to Remember” (I believe), but never looked for more books about it. Then when the “new”movie came out, I was excited that you liked it and were intrigued with the subject! Like mother, like daughter😊 Now I want to read “the Night of Ice & Fire” since you gave it such a good review and spoke about how it was written! Great vlog on a great subject!

The Watch that Ends the Night by Allan Wolf is a middle grade novel in verse. It does a beautiful job of telling the story through many perspectives…one being the iceberg itself. Highly recommend! I’ve already added Bright Night and Iceberg to my TBR. Thanks for this video!

I love all things titanic too. Did you see Gavin also came out w a reading Titanic bokjs video? He read different books and built a huge Lego Titanic. We saw a Titanic exhibition in Vegas years ago and it was amazing. LOVE your haircut too!

In MGM I read some books in a graphic novel series called I survived. One that I read was I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic.

Fantastic vlog! I’m actually currently reading The Midnight Watch for a book set at sea prompt for my local library reading challenge. I didn’t realize the timing of the sinking of the Titanic coincided with my reading. I am really enjoying it, and now I look forward to some of these other books.

OK ok, since you liked A Brilliant Night of Stars and Ice, then you will probably also like The Midnight Watch by David Dyer. It is one of my favorite pieces of Titanic fiction. It's set mostly on the Californian which is the ship that was said to be the closest to the Titanic but did not respond to her SOS signals. And there's a lot about the aftermath in it as well.

I remember watching the titanic movie when it first came out and wanting to learn more about this moment in history. I dont recall ever reading anything involving those who helped rescue. You've made me very interested in the book that focuses on that (I'll have to rewatch your video to confirm the name of the book).

Great vlog, I read the Iceberg as you know, I gave it 5 stars also, I put the other one on my tbr the one you liked A Brilliant Night Of Stars and Ice. When I was on Vacation in Las Vegas we went to the Titanic Museum was up for a limited time. We didn't get to touch an iceberg, but they had part of the ship that showed you were outside and it was so cold like that night. There is a black and white move of the Titanic, I remember watching it on tv as a movie. Different characters than the one you watched. I watched yours also, 3 hour movie in the theater at the time.
