Titanic Sinks Remastered Trailer

Titanic: Honor and Glory began remembering Titanic's fateful night in 2013 with a series of posts and images on our Facebook page. Since then, we have hosted podcasts, shared events, live streams, and, most famously, a viral video that now has nearly 90 million views.
Our remastered animation will premiere live on April 14th- synced up to the 111th anniversary of the disaster. The Titanic model, iceberg collision, breakup, final moments, and more are all updated.
Please note the animation in the Real-Time sinking does not reflect what may or may not be in the final version of Titanic: Honor and Glory. It is a wonderful project spearheaded by our Media Manager, Jack Gibson, with main historical assistance from THG researchers Robin Beuting and Nicolas Murgia. The footage shown might be adjusted for the final video.

I have very high hopes for this! while it looks like it still needs a little more improvements it looks very good! Some suggestions: 1. the ropes look a little bit odd, like they look like they are bending towards the lifeboat, making the boats look tiny (specifically lifeboat 4) 2. I don't think there are barley any people (at least that I could see in the video) that are in the water next to the funnel, since it fell crushing many I think you should add more passengers there Other than that it looks truly breath taking I love that you added people this time, and that there's accurate lighting!

​@@WarriorsCats321Take a look when you go outside at night.The Darkness itself is everywhere,there is no light even with all the stars in the sky shining,making it harder to discern objects in the dark.

Yes but remember there was less light pollution back then, and especially in the middle of the ocean with the water reflecting the starlight back :) Plus the northern lights were supposedly visible that night, which would have helped as well. Still tragic and probably only bright enough to make out basic shapes once the ship went down.

Yes it is almost April and it is Titantic month to me hopefully i will be there live.The Titantic is very interesting to me because it was a horrible night and so cold. Most people had no chance. Whole families died together as wives would not leave their husbands or no lifeboats left. There was a family of 8 that died rogether. So sad and one mother was at a piano with her child, playing it, waiting for rhe end to come. Many died in their cabins and had a horrible death. Such a sad night.

@@rrice1705 they actually are doing an event at the museum which ends on the slipways - it’s called the ‘A Night to Remember’ event. I highly recommend it and I’m going to that again this year because last year it was mindblowing! They start it from 7:30pm onwards and then they hold a memorial silence at 11:40pm when the ship struck the iceberg . After that I’ll probably go back to my hotel to watch this livestream in real time 😊

The big thing that is missing is actual PNJ doing there things inside the Titanic to bring life to her ! I really wish that we will see life inside the ship soon, and better live a 3 days voyage with them. Or even take control of the ship as Captain Smith and travel around the world :)

Thinking about this, shouldn't there be a small glow coming from the chandelier in the middle of the dome (and from the other light sources in the room) that would shine a bit through the dome cover glass? I don't think it should be totally pitch black in those squares. There is one row that seems to have light shining through them though.

They are not sure when the game will be release, but it Will be done they just need to finish off Project 401, finish off the Alpha and then it'll be the game itself. Yes it'll be on VR not sure if it'll be on Console "YET" as their not thinking about it right now, they just need to get the ship done. Hope that helps.

Is it me or is there still a very big problem that the unending side projects have all but guaranteed that this game will never be made and they just took our money 10 years ago? I thought this issue would have been solved when Tom left. I don’t want a remastered video, I want that time and energy spent on the core game.

The core game you've been promised a decade ago has been abandonned for years now. We have 50% of the ship explorable now, i don't think we'll get any more anytime soon. I believe project 401 will be one of the last releases of thg for a long time.

@@subadanus6310 I think they didn't have time to improve, or else they don't want to show the best version to leave for the game. the sky has improved a lot, the tonality I also like but only put a little less blue. The lighting is also good. But the sea is terrible, everything is smooth, without texture. I always thought that their water wasn't very good but now it's much worse than the first version, but it's strange because in the new video that shows the ship during the day the sea has a much better graphic.
