From one vet to another... I sincerely appreciate what you sacrificed. I served in Iraq both my tours and on my second trip we were on the front lines burning our dookie and pissing in a PVC pipe that went Into the ground. I lived in a metal connex with 2 other soldiers and the heat situation was unbelievable 😂😂😂 stay frosty

Try filling the output slots in the bench with anything as a place holder. The crafting ticks down but wont complete the item as all the slots are filled. Remove a place holder item and the item will complete with you in the bench. No more worries about missing the crafting quest.

I'm a Marine that's been out since 2005, and I went over for the start of OIF. Worst part of being over there was the damned camel spiders. When I was over there, we had to scavenge shipping pallets to sleep on because all our tents just had compacted sand, and they were those thick yellow fabric tents that they bought locally, slept about 12 to a tent. We cooked in those damn things during the day, but it managed to hang on to the heat at night so it was actually decent. Oh, and the SCUD bunkers that we didn't trust, because we saw one getting placed, it got sat down on one side before the other, and it snapped in half. It was made of concrete and supposed to protect us in case a SCUD landed in camp. We trusted the sand bags we covered those things with more than the bunkers themselves.

The trick for that irritating quest credit bug is to fill the crafting station output up with rocks so the craft isn't complete till you come back and take one out.

Found out they will grow once if placed in the ground on soil (clay). Not sure if that is a bug or if I plant them in a farm plot it resets them to grow on the ground again (most likely once again if they do).

You've reached the point where the mod completely falls apart. It's not a bad mod, but the complete lack of any balance takes a lot of fun out of it. But that said, it's still fun to watch you play.

rather than balance id say its the pacing thats all messed up. It needs to introduce stuff in tiers spread out over a lot more time.. You get the HD stuff much too early.. It should start dropping at much later stages when much harder mobs are spawning.

I was at a FOB in Afghanistan, but flew into a larger camp before heading home and stayed for a week. The stark difference in the amenities is crazy. I'll never not be blown away by the US military's logistical abilities. That camp was more developed than some small towns.

Not sure if it was a special ammo type, but the HD Tac AR rounds had 50% armor pen and 1 target pen. And the gun itself had a faster fire rate. Don't mind me, just backseat gaming here. Finally, thank you for your service.

if you're gonna do the horde on foot you should really include health bars in your pharmaceuticals for the crit injury resist.

I went swimming in VA Beach at night once just a bit after sunset and I recalled almost as soon as I hit the water and felt something brush my leg that "sharks actually feed now and are most active at these hours." I legit started power running back to the shore, I was only about neck deep but I was in about 3 feet of water when I felt something sharp and jagged scrape my calf on both sides at once just as I happened to be mid step forward, I glanced down and back and saw it. About a 3 foot bull shark literally tried to take a chunk out of my leg. I was super lucky but I had several scrapes on either side of my calf where I was scratched by its teeth when I pulled my leg through. About 7 cuts or so, 3 on each side. I know that's a smaller shark but it still was but enough to have taken my entire calf in one bite if my timing had been off by a fraction of a second. I was soooooo lucky.

The HD farming quest rewards a Spas. I got a lvl 4 from it but results may vary. Also, check the War3zuk Blade quest ( a craft-able quest using 50 paper) that gives a quest at the closest POI nearest to you (careful of using it near your base) and rewards you with a HD machete (easy machete parts). You can also use the War3zuk Armor/Blade quest item to "reset" a poi you want to run again (and again and again and again) for loot. Cheesy YES. But unlimited Crack-a-Book runs. As always AWESOME video and series!

Funny thing about manatees. When I was young (was 4th of July) all my cousins went swimming in Sarasota bay and ending swimming with a herd of manatees and ending up “riding” them, got pulled by them by holding onto a flipper. My youngest cousin even “walked on water” when a manatee surfaced under neath her and her floatees. She was standing on it like it was a submarine. 😂

Farmer quest is gonna give you a teir 6 spas shotgun and put the drum mag on it. Hd gunbench you can make spas specific silencer and sights

For the crafting quests, you can put frames or something in the output slots and it should just pop the item into your inventory and it will count...unless it has been changed.

When I craft quest stuff in the workbench for WotW, I always fill the output slots with blocks. That way I don't need to sit and wait for it to complete. When I open the workbench, I get the crafted item and quest progress.

also when completing the class pre req quest it gives you the class specific vending machine you can put in your base I'd recommend you checking it out cause sometimes you can buy full stacks of materials for a ton of dukes but so worth it in my opinion

I did 2 deployments to Iraq and in my first one we were all over Iraq doing mission and dropping materials to build FOBS and COBS also we rebuild the floating brigade in the Tigris River as a Combat Engineer, and some bases were like that with a little tent with a hole on the ground were you need to burn your own 💩… You brought some good and bad memories from more a decade ago with that… God Bless America and all ours comrades… 🫡

Finishing the farmer class quest would be a good and easy thing to do, and it nets you a tier 6 SPAS-12 shotgun with 6 mod slots. That shotgun can also take a drum magazine mod and hold a ton of rounds.

the trick with doing those quest is to make sure that the output slots on the workbench are full even if you are not watching the item being made you can do your stuff and when its time or your over the time it only makes it when you go back and take a look.

if you do the farmer quest you get that same shotgun you crafted level 6 and its also 51 damage a pellet so its nice when it has all mods

I think with the Eye candy, you have to take it before you open the boxes. when you open the boxes your lot lvl was lower

Loot generates the first time you look in the container. Easily evidenced by the fact that you don't get a bag if you destroy a container before looking in it.

Honestly if it can be changed without decompiling mod and you know how to change all those class quests from craft to gather. I don't see a point in forcing crafting something again if you already have it especially when it's not detecting crafting unless you have open crafting menu.

His commentary its scripted, which is sad, because it takes a lot from whats really happening. For example, if there is a moment he got jump scared, you cant recreate that experience again. What's bro retired Army guy and Daytona Beach ⛱️ resident here. First off sharks are common in daytona beach we have bull sharks 🦈 and etc. Second the second trip you took was in De Leon state park and you guys were on the tour boat 🚢 👍 and the manatees were being nice 😅😂. Third the oil rig you have to put on the ground in a cave full of resources like oil and etc 👍. Stay safe and come back to Daytona beach ⛱️ it looks so different from when you were here.

Didn't know you hated deep water so much. I recommended a Subnautica /Subnautica Below Zero (BZ is kinda Sub 1.5; originally meant to be a DLC) playthrough on your discord recently because it's a hugely popular survival (somewhat horror) game, and you had been playing a bit of that sort of stuff with games like Enshrouded, Ark, Palworld, etc. I hope your fear of deep water doesn't instantly disqualify Subnautica. I would love to see you play it; one of my favorite games with such a great story and progression arc, and it sounds like Subnautica 2 is scheduled for early access next year. A lot of the game is left to the player to explore and discover on their own, and only gently nudges you in the right direction for the story. It's singleplayer, so the opportunity for a cam angle is less likely, but it still would be amazing to see even from that first-person-only angle.
