ive been using my 913 d2 and i have to say that trying all other new drivers, i can honestly say that the ones that came close to being purchased were the Callaway Epic Speed 10.0 and the Taylormade Sim Max. The reason I kept the Titlelist 913 d2 was because even though I might have been a few yards shorter than the new competition I know where I'll be as soon as it leaves the face. Just an awesome sound and feeling from the 913 d2. the others felt great but did not give me the confidence. I will say this, I have been slowing using the 917 d3 and i am getting about 20 yrds more but as soon as i feel as comfortable with it, it will definitely go in my bag. thanks for the review.

I’ve done that test with ts3 against my 917 on course. Hit exact same shots with both drivers multiple times and Ts3 went further by 10 to 20 yards every time. Best thing about ts3 over 917 is that you don’t lose so much yardage on your slight misses and my dispersion rate is way better with the ts3. If your on the fence about getting the ts3 I highly recommend it! Have titleist fit you for free.

I moved to the TS3 from 913 D3 last year. Love the sound, lokks and how it performs. For me the Tensei does the job and I launch the ball nicely. Still plenty what I can get out if it. Not looking to change for at least two next model cycles - likely in 2024

I lost distance when going from 910d3 to a fully fitted ts3. BUT consistency went up. You get away with a lot more with newer tech. However, man I miss the bombs that I could hit with the 910 d3. Wish I never sold it.

Put your SC300 in place so we can compare ball speed and smash factor and see the distance and accuracy difference...

Dude. We are fitted very well the same. Mizuno with Titleist drivers, Pro v1x and the even flow shaft. What like to see a putter video...

Just picked up a 917D2 for under $90 ..... 3 y/o $400 driver lost 80 percent value... not good.

Different shaft would make a bigger difference. Should have just interchanged the same shaft if you wanted a genuine comparison.

I just moved into the 917D2 from a Callaway XR16, both clubs are capable of hitting way farther than I am able to drive them. The reality of a club change is developing the confidence in your ability to hit the new one as well as you hit the old one, there's your pay dirt. I have been thrifting clubs lately and have picked up a few of the older drivers, I used to watch the golf videos and wonder how you guys could hit a different driver so well when I struggled to hit just one, I made some changes in my grip, address and swing and am a lot more comfortable swinging anything. Was the switch to a TS3 worth it?

so how much further did he hit on average with new driver?even with off center hit? thanks john

I am demoing a TS2 from Global Golf right now, and I am crushing it over my 915. I can believe how forgiving it is. Heel shots go just about as far as a good hit with my 915.

So in reality there ISN'T"T much differences for the price!! The key is center of the club face no matter what club, huh?
@kvishal0015 жыл бұрын
yes, but when you have off center hits, the newer drivers are likely to perform better. That's what he's saying at 6:20

The best part of the TS project was their direct upgrade from a previous model. A 915 could slide into a TS2, and a 917 could bump up to the TS3. The player doesn't have that much to relearn about the driver's character. That's great for folks that it fits, but leaves those looking for different characteristics out. The markets outside of Asia go to rage induced support groups to cry rivers if a manufacturer offers more options than their brains can handle. Titleist ,for example, skips releasing a model to the western market ever other year. Otherwise you get those people that cry out, "Gaaaah!!! I just bought last year's model and this year's model is out now!! I quit golf!!". Because you MUST upgrade every year? Last year's Titleist VG cheetah model fits my wife better than this year's ts's, but we have to go to Japan to get fit. The 915 d4 fits me better (or too close to upgrade) than everything since. Here's hoping the TS4 is my TS upgrade 🤞
