To be honest, i don't think the character Cynthia portrayed was ever the 'real' Erin. According to an interview, Titus said that the character of Erin was originally written to be all neurotic and crazy while his friend tommy was supposed to be calm and collected. Somewhere in the development process, they decided to make Erin more like Titus and Tommy became the neurotic one. If his wife was really a female tommy in real life, then i'm amazed their marriage lasted as long as it did.

I just know I loved the fictional Erin from the show and his stand up. When I watched Love is Evol, I felt like it was all a lie. It’s happened with other comics I like. I understand. I went through something similar. 20/20 hindsight, baby. Even the blind see great when looking back.

It is sad, but this is an exaggerated reality sitcom, which means that all of the people in this show are caricatures of their real life counter parts. This Erin was probably an idealized version.

When I young boy in 2000s I really liked this show and I was heartbroken when I didn’t get to watch the rest of this show because it went off the television air, at the time my English abilities were poor,when I found this show on KZbin I was really excited to watch this show again and hopefully finish it. Nowadays watching this show with improved English abilities I get that Titus doesn’t want his dads love he doesn’t want his to be Proud of him Neither because of the later episode that his father wasn’t drinking he Was being good but the family had problem with him not drinking so they pushed him to drink again,so they don’t want there dad to truly be good But to bet him in his drunken of an asshole game and force him to lie that Titus is a good son so that Titus can feel empowered and live in a lie and Be happy about his father lie which his drunk,his not Solver mindset His father has being drinking for for along time and abusing his family for along time his family knows him a drunken asshole abuser and they don’t want him change which on going lie and Twisted Circular pattern of assholism that’s sad
