It is a bridesmaid’s responsibility to spill red wine on any other woman (except the bride of course) who dares to wear white to a wedding. ESPECIALLY THE MIL!
@katd38032 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you said that. At my sister's wedding her MIL told my sis she was wearing an off white dress. Sis was a bit upset and she told me about it. At the rehearsal we talked kinda loud to say how only brides should wear white etc. MIL told her son about it saying it was the only nice dress she had. We were chastened by the groom and told we needed to behave or we'd be out of wedding. I and my sis's one friend were bridesmaid and MOH. We apologized (not really meaning it) and things went quiet. Still hoping she'd gotten the message, it was soon realized it had not. She showed up in a white, not off white, dress and it was sort of a evening gown...almost floor length but not quite. We had no choice but to continue on. But then...the reception happened. Pictures were about to be taken. Pictures had to be delayed until MIL could change from her dress into an equally expensive dress that was a different color, because her not white "not trying to upstage dress" was ruined by someone accidently bumping into her and dumping their plate of food and all down her front. It wasn't red wine, but that dress would never see white again...at least in certain areas. Did you know that beets make a natural dye? I didn't... :P

Yeah. No kink shaming. That's what I was thinking. I mean if they are into kink, then this makes more sense (to me) and if the people in attendance were also from the kink community then, sure. No kink shaming, glad to see i wasn't the only one who thought that. (Though unfortunately, i think in many cases its a nod to the stereotype of a nagging wife or something or treating him like a dog. I personally think **that's** worse )

I believe you're missing the point. Not about kink shaming. Look again, and think historically.

@@SheilaR.08 I get the historical reason it looks tasteless, but the only reason it comes off that way is because they're a mixed race couple. If it had been a white woman on the leash of a black (or any) man people would've cried women's rights instead. The intention was clearly the same as the other two incidents of the same joke which was either intended as kink or (more likely) a variant on the tired old "ball-and-chain".

So nice that people enjoy judging others so much. Hope none of your glass houses come tumbling down. Better yet how to see you all in one of these videos at some point
