Highly suggest it! After the first trail ride I decided to add a cooler. Got a little bit of fade as it heated up on tight trails.

Looks like it has been a year or so since you did the RNR hydro assist. Any new updates or changes? Anything you would do differently? I’ll be doing this project later this year and it looks really hard to make it work well on the TJ44. Only have 10” of suspension travel now with plans to go to 12” of travel. Thanks for making this video and sharing your knowledge.

Steering system itself has been good. I did add a cooler in front of the radiator to extra cooling and capacity. Getting ready to do a double shear trackbar mount and really debating on going with WJ knunckles and ditching the y link steering.

@@beachedferrari You hit the nail on the head. 👍🏼 I’m being told I need to do the WJ over the knuckle setup so I have room to do it “right” on a TJ44. Really like the Currie steering setup with the aluminum tie rod from Savvy Offroad that i have now but I can switch it all out if that’s the right way to do it.

Looking to mount a ram with the same steering setup on my TJ. How has changing the location to the drag link worked out? someone mentioned that to me as an idea but my thought was if you're not parallel you could be putting some weird forces onto your steering, especially the steering box.

It's worked great now that it's moved to the draglink. No more issues.

Did switching to the Poison Spyder diff cover give you some extra room for the tie rod?
