As a Bengals fan, I have been on the side of letting Tee walk or trading him and then bolstering the defense and offensive line. However, based on the last 3 off seasons, I have about zero confidence in this front office to make those correct moves. At least resigning Tee we will know what we are getting. Ideally, Joe, JaMarr, and Tee take some sort of small pay cut and diversify when they affect the salary cap

The Bengals (for the most part) can't evaluate, develop, or retain talent. One of those is easy to fix, pay your talent because you seemingly can't replace them through free agency or the draft at a reasonable hit rate.

Tee is great , he really is but I gotta agree with Keshawn that money needs to be spent on Defense and Offensive Line. We do draft Receivers well! What we don’t draft well is pass rushers and Trey Hendrickson is a guy we cannot afford to lose. Get him locked up! In my opinion the biggest difference or our worst mistake was not signing DJ Reader to an extension. I’m not sure any one guy made such a big impact on our defense. Reader shut down every teams run game and therefore would make opposing offenses one dimensional. His play on the field made everyone else’s job on the defense easier. We struggle to draft guys like Reader and Hendrickson. We let Hendrickson go ,our one consistent force on the defense we will take even another big step backwards. We can’t pay the majority of the teams money on 3 guys and expect to be a real team that can compete.

Hendrickson is 30 and will already be under contract next year. He's not expensive and will soon be past his prime anyway. It really just depends on how much Tee/Ja'Marr are willing to take and whether Burrow is willing to restructure. We are already spending insane money on the defense and on-line and it's still not working. At the right price, I'd rather just keep Tee rather than signing a couple more Rankins, Stone, Bell, Hill type players with that money.

They're gonna sign both. After cuts this off-season and the salary cap increase, they'll have close to 100 million in space.. if not more. They'll go after the top DB and DE.. probably 2 mid teir guys with a lot of upside on o-line. I also believe they're gonna make some trades. They have to be open to flipping those 3rd snd 4th rd picks. I believe they're hearing the outcry from fans and pundits.. along with Joe sending subtle yet, clear messages to the front office. They're gonna go all in for the next 5 years.. they have no choice.
