Great job covering all the aspects in a relatively short duration! I know you can talk about each of them for hours! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing this. I fly RV12 and use a 3 camera GoPro setup, 1st behind me with audio feed in, 2nd from the forward right facing me and the passenger and 3rd from the tail ring looking under the wings. I use GoPro remote to turn on all cameras at the same time to be in sync for the timeline. I download all videos locally on a 18TB Western Digital MyBook and use Adobe Premiere Pro to do the multi camera edits. I also occasionally use a 4th camera on chest mount to capture my G3X panel.

What audio setting do you use for the Sony recorder? Low cut filter on? Ext input setting? Music (low/med/high)? Any level adjustments to avoid audio peaking? Just tried several options for recording audio and the Sony recorder you suggested has worked best!
@vFLYHI_RY5 ай бұрын
also, which file type do you use? There's 4 options. Just hoping to avoid some unneccessary trials if you've figured this all out :)

I have question; how You synchronize sound from Sony recorder with all cameras?

I use the multi cam editing features of Final Cut Pro to synchronize the audio… that is a topic I may cover in a future video

Can you share your settings on your Hero 7 looking at your Garmins? Anything special? I’m getting lines and my screens fade in and out when I view my recordings.
@TJFlyingAdventures5 ай бұрын
Nothing special … I don’t use the advanced settings … I use basic auto 4k /30 fps

How you control camera installed outside of the plane? When I have some nice view to record suddenly camera (gopro11) turn off...
@TJFlyingAdventures3 ай бұрын
The outside camera is GoPro Max, which is a 360 camera that u can control from an app on your phone

@@TJFlyingAdventures OK, before you take off you turn on camera, I need to fly 50min to the place that I want to record. Does the camera is still on?
@TJFlyingAdventures3 ай бұрын
@@bestb51 The battery will likely not last that long. What I do in that situation, is start the camera on the ground. After I am established in cruise (~ 15 mins into the flight), then I use the GoPro Quik app to power off the wingcam and use the same app to turn it back on near landing. This seems to work ~90% of the time. Sometimes you might have to restart the app a couple of times to make the bluetooth/wifi connection work. Good luck!
