@@TheTattorackhey man, gotta embellish how good something is since we like it, ah? No but I see “best x ever” all the time about everything, surely we can just be accurate with how much we like it divided by its actual quality Makes actually talking about how good something seems to be feel pointless, I mean surely not everyone is right that the thing they like is the best ever? If confusion popped up, no I am not referring to you.

@@tjwparso You're working on your business. The point here is to entertain people while making income from youtube. Even at 3-5 minute intervals, you're going to eventually run out of content and then your business fails. You have to expand. STNG doesn't have as many seasons as SG-1. There's a reason for that. If you're not growing, you're dying. Keep growing.

@@tjwparso As someone who hasn't watched TNG in a long time and considers it my favorite of the Star Trek series I love what you are doing and enjoy revisiting the series and always look forwards to seeing the next episode here. Well Hammond has no idea that Jaffa have long life spans. It's possible Teal'c at this point of the show is the same age as Hammond.

Teal'c is almost double Hammond's age, but in terms of position and where they are in their lives with Hammond is a grandfather compared to Teal'c being the father of a young son, (although we don't know this yet) it feels right.

I did always find it interesting Teal'C was able to use his staff weapon through most of the show. I guess being non-military he wasn't required to use certain arms like Carter and O'Neill were. And thinking about it I also think it was cool that as the SGC got their hands on more and more Goa'uld supplies the Zat guns seemed to be more common among the SG teams as a standard side arm.

this is where Teal'c proved his loyalty 100% they said how can we trust someone who betrayed their former master. Because Humans fight and live for freedom, this is something Teal'c also believes in. So he will server anyone loyalty who stands for freedom. He made this show so great, though it did seemed forced, like it should have taken a full season to get him onside, after the tokra.

I love how, despite this being an absolutely huge moment in the show (this being SG-1s first time through the Gate, together, as one), all the fanfare it gets (other than the literal fanfare soundtrack) is a "Well....." and a slight smile to Teal'c from Jack, and then they're gone, ready to start the adventure that I'm sure not a single one of them thought would last 10 years. Oh, the nostalgia for this show......

Now how did the doctors miss that brain maggot? 🤔 2:20 Yeah, it also means they potentially know everything that their hosts know. Nice ray of hope. ... Also, unconvincing. It could just be the information memory, not really a remnant of the host's personality. 2:57 Ah, P3575! ... The nostalgia! 😆

Well, the human brain doesn't have clear distinctions between memory, personality and function. It's all in the same mangled web of interconnections we don't understand. The Gou-uld probably understands it a lot better since accessing and manipulating that is its natural environment.
