TL;DW - Too Long;Didn't Watch. A shorter cut from my long live stream.
In Assetto Corsa Competizione version 1.8 the updated tyre model and bumpstop simulation , greatly improves the handling of the cars over high kerbs.

This is perfect. I always thought about this. I look many real GT3 racing thanks to ACC and always saw they going over those sausage kerbs without spinning. With Lambo before 1.8 it was impossible to take those kerbs. Good job 🏁👍

The 400hz refresh rate and the physics improvement are nice. We can really feel more the stiffness of the car and the tyres, that is GREAT! Let's do the infinite physic refresh rate Aris 😄! With a better collision physic (more softer bumpers between two car for example) the game will be on the top of top. Otherwise nive job, carry on the improvements 🤤.

the bmw yes, those setups is made for 1.8. have the feeling that many other cars default setups are not adjusted. take the nsx that is a disaster. can you make suspension good for the nsx? @aris

NSX feels absolutely horrible after the patch. It also drives totally horrible. Poor car :(.

Lol, what gets me is the handling is becoming more and more forgiving..... , and initially gt sport was being slated for how ur car behaves over curbs... Was running laps at spa in both games last night. The handling in Acc has become so much better since launch, way more forgiving. gt and acc are so close now as far a has handling and grip, it's awsome.
