@getinsidethetanuki93494 жыл бұрын
It's the mom's fault. She's the parent not the friend of the daughter. If she had a kid at a young age. The mom should have let her daughter know the troubles with having a kid as a kid. And scared her into fearing teenage motherhood. Teenagers cannot consent to sex. I don't how people think that just because they're not little kids. They are free to do what they want, when they want. They do not have the mental capacity to raise a child like a full grown adult could. They lack the maturity, brain power, and financial situation to have a child. I can say without a doubt, the mother and father are at fault and failed at doing their one job as parents. Preparing your child for success in the real world. These two should be ashamed of themselves.
@rachelc.6414 жыл бұрын
Exactly. So many parents are scared to give their daughter BC cuz they’ll think they’ll suddenly start to have sex, like my mom was, when I was already having sex as a teenager! Sure is better to be having safe sex than pregnant as a teenager

Blank Space we’ll let’s be honest, every generation feels like they can be teen parents. The issue lies that we as a society are pushing back when a human is a ‘mature adult’, so these teens almost have an excuse to act extra childish, because that’s what society expects these days.

I give him a week after the baby is born. If that. Then he's going to go skedaddling off to his normal life as a teenager (probably getting another girl pregnant) and he will be going to school and playing football and whatever teen boys do and she's going to be left to raise the baby. Or her mom will because after the romance of it wears off (probably in the first three days) and she's exhausted and stressed out and the baby is crying and hungry and demanding ALL of her time and attention, she will toss the baby in Mom's lap and be BEGGING to go back to her life as a teenager. And then the parents of the mother will be suing for child support and the parents of the dad will be saying "Our son is too young to take care of a baby and he is not going to have his life ruined by this" I've seen it far too many times when these young teens get pregnant. They are babies themselves. They lack the maturity and discipline to raise a baby. They just had sex because they thought it was fun and romantic and they didn't count on having a baby. This is precisely why these young kids need to have a class in school where they literally have to take care of a baby. A REAL baby, not a doll or an egg. And the adult can only step in if the child is in danger. Then they will see what it really feels like.

Celina Mathew That shouldn’t concern you. Not everyone is able to finish high school on time for a number of different reasons. The only thing that should matter is that she hasn’t dropped out or given up on getting her high school diploma, which is often the case for girls who get pregnant as a teenager. I think it’s wonderful that despite her circumstances and despite the fact that it has taken her longer than normal, she’s still pressing on and values her education. It’s not going to matter when she finished high school, all that matters is that she will have a diploma in her hands, no matter how long it took. 😊

I think it's great that she wants to go back to school, but I'm doubting her reasons. I have a feeling this girl 'cries' to get what she wants. She's very young, but made a decision to have unprotected sex and will be forced to grow up since there is a baby on the way. It looks like she wants to go to that school to party, be crazy with her friends, and dump the baby with her parents when she wants to, and basically have her old life back. Unfortunately that's not how it works. Her life will change 100%. She says she's the smartest person ever, why is she pregnant at such a young age than? She should stay at that school where people understand her and can help her.

her mom is so amazing for being put in the position she was in then and now to be so protective and supportive of her daughter. i hope everyone would have a mother like this
@r.s61876 жыл бұрын
There is just...so much wrong here. The fact that she laughs and jokes about how she doesn't want to breastfeed and bases her decision off of the fact that she wasn't breastfed and turned out "fine." If she doesn't want to breastfeed that's her choice, but I believe if she's able to, she should. Or should at the very least do research and have a better reason for not breastfeeding besides "I don't want to". The fact that she acts like she knows better than her mother, who was a teen mother herself and has been through all of this before. The fact that she said she doesn't want having a baby to take over her life and ruin senior year....like newsflash hun, your life is changing forever. And that's the choice you made. No one "forced" her to grow up. No one held a gun to her head and made her do this. In today's world with so many different forms of birth control, easy access to condoms and abortion being legal in the US, these girls are not forced to become mothers. They have options. I respect any woman's decision, as it's never an easy one to make. But if you choose to have a baby in your teens, you need to face facts, grow up, listen to those around you who are wiser, and put the baby's health and needs first. I've known young mothers who are amazing! Better than some older, married mothers. But that's only because they stepped up to the plate and made sacrifices. If she's already worried having a baby will make her miserable, she needs to really reconsider her options moving forward, such as adoption. Don't bring a child into your life if you're not emotionally mature enough to handle it. It spells disaster for everyone, including the poor child. I seriously hope she grows up. This was painful to watch.

i mean... she doesn't seem to be very smart just like, in general lmao. but to be fair, she could've used protection and it just didn't work. protection decreases the chance of pregnancy but it's not foolproof. accidental pregnancies happen all the time even w/ protection lol (unless she specified otherwise, I legit haven't seen this show but this kept popping up in my recs lmao)

Why doesn't they use protection? I mean being a parent at this young stage, that's a big responsibility

@@rennickelizabe you can use more than 1 thing at a given time. For example pill + condom, or if the condom breaks pill + condom (broken) + morning after. Its less expensive getting contraception then rasing a child

Mr. Ben...the reason why they don't use protection is because like teens in the 1950'-1960's they truly believe that if a guy doesn't finish inside them they can't get pregnant. Little do they know that most guys will leave a small amount of ejectulate prior to the big finish...whether it's inside or not. I am just amazed with all the birth control there is nowadays kids are still of the mindset that they can't get pregnant the first time.

If anything she's gonna miss out on that feeling of starting life on your own after high school ..that energy and motivation ..you feel invincible ..going to collège or working .. leaving the family nest and facing the world on your own .. no child to look after ..no hinder ..it's just you and your dreams ..that's what I love most about my late teens and early 20's ..the magic of it ..I studied ..traveled ..painted..dated and went out with friends ..I figured myself out ..meanwhile my best Friend got married at 18 and had her first child at 19 and got divorced at 20 and it was so hard for her .. life got serious pretty fast for her and she had to skip all of that .. that's. Why you have to live every phase of your life at its time ..if you rush things over ..you're gonna miss some really incredible moments

She said that she wasn't breast fed and she turned out to be the smartest person she knows, and I'm just like you can't be that smart if you got pregnant that young.
