@@amixeblu More than half of the people featured on this show in general say they buy things just because it is either free, they can make money off of it or even without having a need for that item that it looks good in their stockpile. Such as the woman with flea collars who doesn't have pets, or the woman who was laughing about having cases of liquid baby formula without having children or grandchildren, not even knowing what to do with it. This is not judging, just pointing out what the majority of featured people tend to do, that is all. I used to be a coupon queen, but these shows came out and ruined it for everybody. In my state, Michigan, there are no longer any major grocery outlets that double coupons. Which is the way that most of the coupon queens get such amazing deals. Let's say Kroger would double them up to a dollar which means you got $2 off of something. At any rate my best was $107 worth of groceries for $0.06. But I never took all of the stuff off shelves, I went when it was early or late, I always had the right coupon it was never out of date. Unfortunately not everybody wanted to abide by these reasonable outlines.

You're absolutely right ma'am, this show was actually filmed in early 2010s , and nowadays most retailers no matter it's a national brand or just a State chains , they don't have any valuable coupons anymore... Not to even mentioned doubling it . In my state of Utah, I could find some really good deals with coupons and get something like 50% off in the past, but now there's either no coupons or just some silly little discount...
@rodericwalter28623 жыл бұрын
Thank you for answering this question I have had for years (I live in Michigan). They do not double, nor do they honor multiples; therefore, couponing generally does not work in Michigan -- as the best you can do is about 45% off of an item. Another issue is that I cannot eat many items that are usually attached to coupons (too much salt, sugar, or preservatives).

Check out couponing with star and one cute couponer. They teach people how to coupon on KZbin and have other social media sites. Good luck to you. Once you start the habit is hard to break. Key tip I only get stuff I need or use for my family that cant go out shopping because of covid. Been couponing for 5 years. Its still good deals out there.

We don’t get coupons like this in the the US either. This kid was using fraudulent coupons. Companies don’t give out coupons for free packs of toilet paper and definitely don’t give out multiple of those free pack coupons. The cat litter coupon same thing.

1:50 He’s my kinda guy 😭 I LOOOOVEEE his attitude!!! I also loved couponing as a kid. My aunt was my inspiration. Back then I used to live in an apartment where we wouldn’t get mailed coupons, but my aunt did because they lived in a house. Whenever I would stay over at my cousins house I would love looking at the pages and pages of coupons. My parents wouldn’t splurge on groceries and our budget was tight so I thought, well we can buy nicer things and more treats if we use coupons to buy food we like but usually can’t afford. I SWEAR I would make my cousin leave the tv on TLC THIS SAME SHOW instead of turning it to Disney Channel and watch the suite life of Zach and Cody. 😢 sweet sweet memorabilia.

I've used coupons many times. Some stores take off the tax others dont and its frustrating to pay tax on items I'm not buying/paying for.

Where are these places?! I live in Northern California and every store I go to has a “only one coupon per transaction” rule. Not to mention the tax charges and rental prices here are over the roof. You can’t even fart without getting charged $100 for it ),:

Next time he has to go on a vacation w/his family. They can send him to my house for five weeks & coupon for me. I would be honored for him to come live w/me for five weeks w/his coupon box. I'd take him shopping every single day. He wouldn't get depressed @ my house. His parents are lucky to have a son that likes to save them money & don't cost them an arm & a leg. Unlike most teenagers who will not work, go to school, & set on there backsides playing video games all day. What a blessing. Chris from Missouri
