You can use OEM caliper bolts for TL-S for this as well and they are normally super cheap from dealership. Part Number 90107-SEP-A50. Also from my experience, 9th gen and CU2 TSX/Accord you don’t need to bother with doing the TL-S master cylinder.

I have the same bbk from dc5 creation and something happened to me. You can also buy Hyundai genesis coupe brembos from o’reilys , they are direct bolt on

Would be more cost effective if you take your calipers to a CNC shop to mill down the thickness around the bolt holes.

Thank you for this video. I went through something similar with Dc5 Creations. I bought the ctsv bbk for my s2k, which he advertised to fit. I paid a little over 1.6k for the kit and buying brake lines, rotors and pads. And when i tried installing it, it didn’t fit. I contacted him and he said he would make me brackets to fit the calipers. Its been 3 years now. Ive contacted him and he says he hasnt had the time. Its sad that people like these are still in business. I decided to buy a DC5 , and i will be using the bbk now.

It’s crazy to think, if you really wanted, you could have pieced together a kit and sold them for less than what these hustling companies charge. That just proves you aren’t trying to take cash out of anyone’s pockets. Stay humble my friend, we appreciate you.

brembo calipers from a 2013 gensis work as well and they are bolt on you have to shim them and us a Nissan Merrano 3rd row calipers or at least I know the TSX guys have been doing it for a while

For all my RSX-s owners, you can’t upgrade your brake master cylinder because our fittings don’t fit into the cylinder. I know because I tried, there is a way to make it work but you’d have to wait til I upload that vid on my account lol. I lucky pieced my kit myself with the help of aerogenics kit, I highly recommend. If you do want to use rotors of your choice, aerogenics does give you the measurements of how much you’re supposed to bore you rotors. I had a terrible time looking for a machine shop to bore rotors. For my next rotor change I’d just go with the kit that aerogenics has.

I don’t have anything against dc5 creations since I’ve bought a few things from him but recently a set of retrofit headlights I got from him before he was dc5 creations started to get condensation inside 😢 so I need to reseal them. I agree with the bbk prices, at first it was supposed to be a budget kit but then got more expensive. I remember before these became so Popular I made my own kit for under $500 and still run them 5 years later no issues

I got the kit from him also. The pins that hold the pads on are so hard to push in. The pin backed out and my outer pad became loose. I texted him and told him what happened he said I just needed to hammer the pin in deeper, I ended up going to autozone and getting a 3rd gen 4Runner brake pad pins and cotter pin and modified the calipers run those pins. I track my car so I constantly need to switch from street pads to track pads. I’ll be making a video on this install on my channel. I have the stuff filmed just needs to be edited.

ALL the reman stuff, which they use also... leaks with the cross over O ring. on my old TLS kit did, and almost everyone else i know had one... thank god i can buy them in 8 packs! my only issue with the TL-S setup is they are HEAVY

I believe you can also use the rotors from the Nissan Rougue 3rd row seat. I haven't tried it myself but heard it works.

Or you can also go genesis brembo bbk! Direct bolt ons with original caliper bolts and Nissan rouge (3rd row seating) Rotors. Autozone rotor part# 76021DL. Zero complaints with this setup on a boosted 9th gen

The dc5 kits are not good at all having issues with mine. I got a 6 piston kit and paid 1600 for it to not even fit (my fault for buying) so i got another 4 piston kit and one of the bolts started to strip. Mind you i used the RSX torque spec not TLS since the RSX torque spec is a bit less than the TLS. So to anyone who buys from dc5 be cautious. Not sure if they do quality control on the parts.

Ngl bro you should try to do some research. Everything is pretty straight forward. TL type s was only made for 07-08, buy an areogenics kit and skip the s2k rotors. He literally says stainless steel brake lines for 8th gen.

Same thing as a eg/dc2 when they want to go type r 5 lug conversation. You don’t have to spend all that money Just get a crv 5 lug hub press it in your spindle and BOOOM it’s not real type r 5 lug BUT WHO WILL KNOW ?
