If you sang 'ilayaraja ilayaraja ilayaraja', the image of ilayaraja would come to my mind. If you sang, 'kartrae kartrae kartrae', I may sense the feel of the breeze...when you sing Narayana Narayana Narayana, who else can I imagine but the images of Krishna/Narayana that I have seen pictures of, of murthys in the temples or of images created in my mind by stories of Krishna...teach me, oh Krishna, how I can take the beauty of those names and words out of the 'devine' music that comes through your voice !

@Shreyas K Shreyas K Definitely agree with you there Shreya. I don't think TMK would be who he is today if it weren't for RK and Arun Prakash. However, there's something really special about TMK and Akkarai that's beautiful to watch and listen. I think she is open to his non-traditional take on kacheri deliveries. When he nudges her to play a tanam right before a short keerthanam she does so completely trusting him and the outcome is amazing. RK on the other hand I think resists to some degree and it shows. Again, not saying one is better than the other. They're just two different kinds of relationships.

@Robin S. Joseph: Should agree with you there; I love TMK and RKS too, but he doesn't accompany i.e. layer TMK's singing with the violin, but plays in tune with him. Akkarai's accompaniment takes the entire piece to another level. All of FEA's videos until now!

You guys are comparing apples and oranges. Both pairs have their own chemistry and beauty, and their own flavour.

hello FEA, am a great fan of your videos, but you need to put the name of the song rather the raag name. Am sure your hits and likes are sure to multiple. You can compare the stat with the ones where you have put the name.of the song. You are simply the best when it comes to AV quality. Of course no debate about the super natural singer!
@FirstEditionArtsChannel4 жыл бұрын
vaidyalingasiva, thanks for your input. Normally we put the name of the song in the accompanying description. But you’re probably right. We will try this in our subsequent videos and see if the numbers go up.

Not understood a word apart from the basic expression that it's praises of krishn ji, but beautifully rendered. I genuinely think that carnatic classical is much more potent in invoking strong emotions. But when sung and performed by such esteemed beings even simple sargams can sound heavenly... Bless everyone reading and enjoying this piece and eternal namaskaar to the performers ❣❣❣

That is Carnatic Music. Can you remember the present days movie songs ? But the present day’s younger generation prefer and enjoy the olden days movie songs , and they sing it Star singer programmes. Why ? Those lyrics conveyed a meaning, and those lyrics are called Classical . What the Carnatic musicians sing are classical , and that Music will never die , the more you listen the more you enjoy and derive new meanings .
