The TM story is incredible. I’m Italian and I’m very proud of it. The only one problem they have is that “they get lost in a glass of water”. How is it possible for an INTERNATIONAL sales manager to speak shitty english like that? This attitude is reflected in the production, in the after sale assistance and in the final user experience. They just need to improve on the details to make the brand at the same level of its competitors, and even better due to the “artigianale” and “fatto a mano” philosophy behind the brand.

To be fair, the failing is that Sam and Melissa speak terrible Italian so Roberto was doing pretty well in English! Where do you live in Italy?

@@armyofdarknessmotorcyclesb2883 I’m in Ancona, less than 2h from Pesaro. I can understand your point, but as an International sales manager you should speak 100% perfect English my friend. You are representing the TM brand abroad and you can’t even totally explain yourself while talking.. this can diminish the reputation and image of the brand (in my opinion). But I’m not talking only about Roberto’s english, I’m talking about they need to focus on details to improve their reputation.. post sale assistance, spare parts management and availability, warranty, ecc..

@@nicolo4439 there is a story here in the United States among the racing promoters and participants that underscores exactly what you're saying. Some years back their international racing coordinator visited a grand national cross country race with the United States importer. When it was proposed that TM participate he scoffed and said the Americans were hillbillies who only understood Hondas and Yamahas. Understand that the GNCC is the largest off-road series in the country and would probably be most analogous to your Enduro GP. Granted the GPS are better organized and produced but the GNCC series here in the States gets a lot of media attention. It was a major misstep for them. As a side note I own an Italian Husqvarna and it's been one of the most wonderful motorcycles I've ever had

You should be proud! I own 4 Italian bikes: - 2016 TM MX125 - 2005 Benelli TNT1130 - 2001 Aprilia RSV1000R - 2005 Cagiva Raptor 125 I like all of them but especially love the TM and Benelli. They are both flawed in some ways but so special in the way that they are built with quality/performance in mind rather than building it to a price point. Its incredible that in a time where most Japanese manufacturers fail to offer even a single 2 stroke bike TM offers a MX bike with 85/125/250/300 2T or 250/300/450 4T, a Enduro bike with 125/250/300 2T or 250/300/450 4T, a SM with 85/125/300 2T or 450 4T and until a couple of years ago even a factory 300 2T/450 4T Flattrack bike. All whilst remaining competitive and committed to quality and winning the majority of all WC kart championships as a fun side project. I've also got a 530 TM engine lying around to put on a shifter kart and hoping to buy a 300 SM in the future. The Benelli is also "special", you can't start it when its hot (the clutch basket might explode), it gets hot all the time because they messed up the cooling design, it has the turning circle of a sportsbike whilst being a naked, the neutral sensor needs to finish its spaghetti every morning before it starts working (it literally keeps on lighting 30 seconds after driving away), the killswitch also kills the running lights (which is utterly insane). Yet it is truly amazing i every other way, the frame is a incredibly beautiful/costly design, as is the swingarm, the subframe. It sounds and handles incredible, it is exclusive. Wouldn't trade it against any Yamasuki CBF1000 Ninja (don't get me wrong, I think the Japanese machines offer incredible engineering and value/money but most are so dull and they are all so similar).

TM, Please fix the power valve problem on the EN300 2t
@johnbajada83382 жыл бұрын
There is an easy fix, just do the power up mod using the pv reset cable
@matterwin28512 жыл бұрын
My dealer and I have tried that and every other “fix”. No luck. Went on a ride with four other tm riders, tbi and carb and all the bikes hade the same issue. The “fix” is to whack the throttle after startup then four seconds later the pv is back to normal. I’m making it work for me and my dealer I’d doing the best he can to sort out the issue with no support from TM. I will never buy another TM.
