I ran pretty hard and didn't clear $100k my rookie year with TMC. That number is a stretch for any rookie driver regardless of company. The most important factor is gaining experience in the first year... the money will come after.

@melvinvidal53282 жыл бұрын
You just mentioned one of the reasons why I quit with TMC. They do a lot of things that got me wondering if they are 100% honest with their drivers with the rate confirmation as few times they paid me much less of what I saw in the BOL . No explanation from the management or my dispatch just keep rolling. Also for the tarping they charge up to $200 to the customer for tarping when the driver only gets $40. TMC is only a company to get started and then move on. The performance pay is just a way to pay less to the drivers. You have to do everything right in order to make decent money.

This vid answered my most pressing concerns. As sb coming from sales working for commission, I know i dont get what i should be getting....especially when I was in car sales. lots of numbers shaved off in finance and behind the scenes. we weren't even allowed to see the invoice on a vehicle so we never really knew what we were grossing and had to trust. solar is more transparent. that's capitalism! lords and peeasnts. it is what it is until it isnt.

Great video! I’m a spreadsheet guy. I’ll be finishing orientation this Friday. If I understand correctly this doesn’t factor in your ESOP being your first year. If it did you most likely would’ve broke 100k for the year.

No ESOP factored in my numbers. Best of luck with your journey! 💪🚛💨💨💨
@williamkroelinger86602 жыл бұрын
ESOP does not factor in until you have reached 1 year with TMC. Once you reach the 1 yr mark, you are eligible to participate in the ESOP beginning that Following January or June, whichever comes first.

@ryanlupo25532 жыл бұрын
@@outsid33 Employee Stock Ownership Plan. TMC is employee owned. At the end of the year they multiply what you’ve made by the profitability percentage growth for that year and you get that amount. For example, if you made 100k that year and the company grew at 15% that year, you’d get 15k in your ESOP. Now you have to be there I think 5 years to be able to touch 100% of your balance, 4 years 80%, 3 years 60%, 2 years 40% but a minimum of 2 years to get anything. Don’t quote me on the time but I believe that’s correct.
