Ferling’s “famous etudes” (common etudes that are found in many method books from different authors) was what Cyrille Rose used to develop his etudes for clarinet. Rose etudes are typically longer and demand a larger range (because they aren’t written for oboe/saxophone), but otherwise sound the same
