It’s most likely 白酒 (baijiu) in the shot glasses. It’s kind of like China’s version of soju or sake but it is RANK. Like straight gas water. It’s 30-60% depending on what brand you use. I bring small bottles back for friends and family when I visit home just to watch their reaction.
