Instant rematch is an absolute relief. Goes to show the sheer incompetence behind the loading times of Tekken 7 though. You can finish a second game of Tekken 8 by the time Tekken 7 has loaded up, ludicrous. But this is what I needed to see from Tekken 8, quality of life changes and a better gameplay experience.

Most PS4 games have loading times issues. With PS5, games are loading faster

Tekken 8 CNT was an absolute blast. I’m mostly critical of the heat system in its current form but there’s bound to be tweaks. Apart from that, just a beautiful game and amazingly fun to play

Tekken nerd here: 1. Devil Kazuya finally has black electricity mixed in like Dvj. 2. His ground laser tracks AGAIN(but not as good as they did in Tag2) 3.His air lasers recovery is on par with Ancient ogres FLY stance..ie its really hard to punish now.

I was originally gonna be maining Bryan for the CNT but I kept gravitating towards Kaz even though he's one of my secondary characters. The one complaint I have with Kaz specifically (aside from the obvious DF3+4 string) is that his DF+1 DF+2 bound string seems a bit inconsistent off axis. I wish we had a B+2 extension like a new B+2,1

My question is maybe stupid but as I don't even own a PS5 I didn't test it but it looks so cool in the end so I could imagine the response to my question, I read that many after tested it can't play 7 anymore as the difference is too big, that 's crazy !!!! I personally feel that some of Kazuyas moves (only in heat) should do more damage for the heat cost. Like, if you look closely his "old" moves like his enhanced hellsweep spends a quater of his heat but is STILL unsafe, which is fair. The trade off should either be higher damage for that much cost OR less heat consumption with the damage unchanged to migate the fact that hes unsafe AND spending all that heat for "okish" damage.

The difference is, other than that broken 3+4,1,2,2 string Kazuya still needs heavy execution to do like 80 damage with heat. Asuka without heat manages 80 and with it can go upwards to 120+ easily, sure it needs some execution but tell me how your fingers feel after playing Kazuya for a bit 😭💀

Asuka execution is far less taxing than Kaz as a result you get more damage for better executions as Kaz. Asuka isn't as taxing as him but her basic combos do like 80 which for her character makes no sense.
