Lore wise you have to admit Kazuya did look pretty weak in that fight though, Heihachi was easily beating him even with his 3 eyes, then heihachi beat his Full devil form too. Now that I think about Jin was beating him pretty easily in that first glimpse of story mode., Akuma was making that fight look easy too Maybe lore wise after Tekken 4 Kazuya is weak and the feed to all his fights conveniently disappears and he shoots them in the face with full devil , either that or he just goes low on all males and against females hopes for the best 0_o

The worst of the nerfs were to his combo game. His heat bound and combo consistency nerfs made him feel absolutely atrocious to play. I had to switch to Bryan because trying to combo with Kazuya felt like pulling teeth

There's one thing in nerfing only a certain string/attack, which is by many considered too powerful (Kazuya's original DF3+4 string for an instance). There's the other thing however, in nerfing a character so much that not only his combos are boring and inconsistent - instead of having huge potential in terms of creativity - but also you take away all the fun from playing said character. 2:30 I think its not about ender to get wall travel, it's just this flip mechanic does not homing far like the screw mechanic in Tekken 7. So to compensate for it we need to use heat bounce and heat dash to get the wall travel that we used to.

yeah the most I can do with bryan is 91 damage, none rage and 99 with rage no super. I cant break the 99 damage. seems to be a damage lock on the character. Most of the cast I can get around an 76

also I gotta say this T8 kaz design looks great but his fighting style is lacking ,looks so underdeveloped like they don't want him to grow I've been playing Tekken since the 3rd one seriously I love what was done for Jin for his first appearance while Kaz was dead and even for evolution sake tekken tag Jin in my opinion was a hybrid between his father and mother then they squander the idea to revamp the hybrid once more didn't initially like him , then he grew on me ,and then in time realized Jin is likely the best well-rounded character in the game and jin's counter parts have grown with him Hwoarang, Eddy and Xiaoyu where is Kazuya's growth and we don't want more big flashy moves . Build his base core up and give him the personality in his tech he so desperately needs Dorya

Honestly, all the complaints are fucking laughable. Kazuya's still a strong character... still has that safe and fast recovering launcher. Twin pistons. Better 50/50 vortex, etc. His combo dmg got nerfed? You mean, he doesn't do 70% dmg without rage anymore? Boo fucking hoo. Even in the context of T8, his combo dmg is still above average, especially considering how it starts--- safe fucking launchers.

You should change the title to “waiting (and waiting and waiting) for my first ranked Tekken 8 match… Anyways, from what I’ve seen, this game looks more like Tekken 7’s “dark resurrection” than something really new... I mean, graphics, character movement and animation (which haven’t stepped up in realism at all). Even some assets appear to be the same. They did us real dirty with the first trailer. It claimed to be an “in game footage” but it was a straight up lie.

Sad as a Mishima main, my expectations for Tekken 8 have diminished. After almost two years of practicing with Mishimas in Tekken 7, I learned a lot of cool things, like df2 pewgf and multiple electric combos. I also mastered many fundamentals, such as punishment and movement. However, with Heihachi and Devil Jin not being playable characters, maybe in the future for 6 or 7 dollars, unfortunately, I no longer have the motivation to buy the game at full price. Anyway, with Kazuya being boring to play, maybe I'll consider purchasing the game when it becomes more affordable. This is just my opinion. :( :( :(
