Look up TMNT 2 Turtle Swap rom hack. You can press select to switch your turtle at anytime.

Well thanks to this video I did something I have not done in probably over 25 years; I beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game! I have played it a bit over the years, but never all the way through until today. I did use the code for the extra lives, but I still started at the beginning. I was down to my last life with very little health left when I finished off Shredder. I beat the game quite a few times as a kid, but I do not know if I ever did without the code or using a continue though. I just wanted to say thanks for giving me a reason to play through a childhood favorite again.

I have the coupon. It expires December 31, 1990. I was disappointed because it actually says 1990. I have a Ghostbusters II Hardee’s coupon that expires July, 31 89. I’ve considered taking it to a Hardee’s since it doesn’t specify 1989 to get a 39 cent cone.

To be fair about that ,in Mario Bros series it's not a reflex thought to deflect a bullet back the direction it came from,,,it's more like an "ohh shit I better jump out of its way", moment so I can understand that in TMNTag when a tire or manhole cover is coming at you,,,

I remember beating the arcade version in a hotel. Mom gave me $10 to do with as I wanted. It was the most money I ever pumped into a machine. After I beat the game, with a little help from some other kids who came and went, I think I still had $2 or $3 bucks left over.

An easy way of doing a quick B,A input is to place you thumb on the right edge of the B button then slide it over to the A button as if you were swiping your phone's screen right, only with slightly more pressure applied. In actuality the standard NES controller's buttons don't need to be pressed too hard for the input to be registered. This trick is often used to perform the helicopter kicks in Double Dragon, hope it helps.

11:58. one of the reasons i love this channel right here; too many people will tell you only the “perfect kill” solution and never give alt strats in case people can’t execute it. it doesn’t even matter that i’ve beaten this game dozens of times, it’s just common dang courtesy. edit: tho i would say that the jump kick strat would be going “toe to toe” 😉

you can farm the missiles in the sewers for points too, its been a long time since i played this one but i recall there were 2 or 3 sections where missiles would come at you, and each one had 10 or 20 missiles before they stop spawning. i cant be exact not having played recently but i remember getting a significant amount of points, if you get into a rhythm with the strong attack they arent a problem. that being said, i had never thought to farm baxters mousers before!! that aside, ive truly been enjoying your videos. ive watched almost all of them, and i have only one piece of advice: dont change a thing!! you do such a great job, are exceptionally thorough, theyre an absolute pleasure to watch. i hope you dont mind me chiming in with my tip, perhaps you hadnt thought of farming the missiles, theyre a great way to farm up points without baxter flying around!! thank you!!

When young, I would record myself playing to cassette tape. Friends joked that one day we would probably film it.....long before the days of youtube. I have actually spent hours at the motorcycle part racking up points and extra lives. I see our playing style in the game is pretty similar. I've never seen anyone else fight Baxter as the fly like that. I've told so many friends over the years about that trick, funny. But....always room to learn. Never have known about the "invincible" spot when fighting Shredder. So of all the NES games.....and really, of ALL the games I've played, this is by far the one I have beaten the most. Happy playing!!!
