The piano, the organ, brass, drums, strings and even the bass, and of course the beautiful vocal...it's all so perfect

To me this version is alright. To me it has more of a ballroom feel to it and raised to appear uptempo giving that swing out put.

I remember buying that debut album at my local mall. I remember the record executive letter on the jacket assuring the buyer that Ms. Cole indeed had talent; that this was not nepotism. I've still got the record. It's a total jam.

Whenever I hear this song, I think "CHURCH!" "GOSPEL!" "JESUS!" as it reminds me of a joyous Baptist church gospel hymn....long before Cold Stone Creamery and eHarmony commercials. I loved Natalie Cole as much as I loved her dad...both beautiful, classy, elegant individuals. Bless you, Miss Natalie. I hope you're spending time with your dad beside you in A Little Bit of Heaven. You will never be forgotten and I will Miss You Like Crazy as you are truly Unforgettable.

I saw Natalie Cole her last concert before she transitioned one of the commenters mentioned about Goose bumps. That night she sang this song and host of others everyone in the concert hall got goose bumps her voice just travelled. This Will be is a classic example of what true musicianship is about, true arrangement true expression of her craft. Everyone in one accord (musicians and singers) soul and spirit to produce a beautiful and memorable song which touch hearts something that is very much lacking in todays music………….
