100% agree on the "don't give a discount today for the promise of more business in the future". They NEVER come through for you. NEVER. Some people just seem to do this to new businesses to see if they'll be a sucker and fall for a low ball offer. Don't be a sucker.

All great tips....but would have tossed 1 big one in as well...get *everything in writing!* Don't know if you've come across it yet but eventually you may end up having to drag someone into court for lack of payment or some other issue (hopefully you don't). In the end...all you have is what's in the contract and spelled out. Knew early on you guys would work with some big named companies....keep up the great work! Oh, and another tip (from previous video) for a 'side-hustle' (and making some extra$$). Easy money if someone needs a "2nd Shooter' and a wedding gig (wife's been crushing those lately).....👍👍👍

Tip number 8 solution... Check list. Every pilot has a checklist, where they manually read, go through 'do this', on the list. Photographers, film people, need to also create check lists.

I truly appreciate this video. Thank goodness I am able to listen to it! I want you to know one thing, the caption I'm watching is not saying one word that you are saying! Did you know that? It's not even in English at times. I hope no one is focusing on those captions, because they are talking about food and other things that don't come anywhere near what you are saying. The most significant side of this career is the business side. Without knowing how to strategise and advertise your film and photo career, you either go bankrupt or wont make good amount of money. Photographers and videographers must learn how to market their business.
