TN Krishnan (Video) | Live concert with Guruvayur Dorai |

We complete the second trio in our #CarnaticTrio series with a video concert by the legendary violinist TN Krishnan. Krishnan, like the other two members of the violin trinity, came into the Carnatic music field in the 1940s and accompanied many legends like Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhagavathar, Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, GN Balasubramaniam and Madurai Mani Iyer. He imbibed the nuances of his guru, Papa KS Venkataramaiah, and went on to also be a successful soloist over his career. The tone of his violin and fingers were as young till his very last concert and this concert is a testament to it. The concert details are below:
