What a great reaction, So sincere. She is simply the greatest, I have heard. at 89yrs. old I went to see her in Canada, from Florida. It's like an opera. Soooooooo Good

This one is part of a film that she did at this time in her career. Perfection is right! She writes and sings in many languages and should be much more celebrated than she is worldwide. A true polyglot talent sent from heaven.

Have to add that Lara has to be one of the most talented people that I have ever seen in my life. There aren't many people in the entertainment industry that have as many tools as her. Her voice is just the tip of the iceberg, though a very large tip.

Still trying to process what I saw. Lara has always been amazing in her ability to just inhabit the song. The first song...beautifully sung, so heartfelt. The last video was hard to watch, I had to look away at one point. Not surprised at all in her ability to portray the complex emotions of a person in her situation...just brilliant. Thanks for reacting to these.

The beauty of the voice of Lara Fabian specially in her higher ranges. The velvet softness of her voice in al her ranges is for me much more important than the lyrics. Lara has a voice you can listen to the hole day ...Her voice is liquid gold for the ear, like some voice teacher once said.

Thank you for your courage. Lara is a teacher. She communicates emotions like few others can, and her compassion comes through, because it is real. She is the definition of a safe person. I don't know her, but I know that about her. It is palpable. That you put these two videos together to teach, in essence, the story of not only her performance, but the acting that some are forced to live till they can somehow find a path out of pain and terror, is a gift. It may well save someone's life. Take care of YOU. All of you. Thank you.

What a great idea of having Lara on Fridays. She is my all time favorite female artist. She draws you in with the first few notes of her voice then takes you on a journey with her engulfing your heart and soul. She could sing the alphabet and bring you to tears 😢😢. She had a terrible tragedy in her life. I think it was after her From Lara with Love concert. She was singing and had an ear piece in. Accidentally, the sound engineer cranked up the volume, and it pierced her ear drum. She didn't, and couldn't sing for a very long time. Went into depression. Maybe some of your other viewers can add to this or clarify. She was born to sing and started when she was 5. I have such respect for her, and my all time favorite. She is in it when she sings it. Keep singing Lara, we love you. ❤❤🧡🧡 heart and soul!

My God she is fantastic 👏👏🥰. For me the best phrase of the song that... ¡Un hombre no es un hombre si no puede amar!! ¡A man is not a man if he is not able to love! Wowww 🤯🤯👏👏👏👏

About Lara and her performance. You are just 100 % right. Lara does not faking anything, EVER, when she is performing. She lives those songs through the lyrics like you said. And that is maybe the biggest different between her and the other singers out there (not forgetting her perfect vocals 😁...). And in this song like in other songs as well which are concerning very hard or difficult topics you really can see and feel the pain in her face, that sometimes it is almost unbearable to watch...But so it should be, it is meant for us to feel those feelings she is delivering. And she truly delivers, when she is perfoming live. That's why i've been and am so honored and happy (like every fan of Lara) for being able to follow her career and watch her live perfomances all these years. There simply is no other artist that effects you the way she does and makes you feel all those feelings and emotions in the way she does. So let's continue to follow her, shall we? 😁 😎

Just watched this video again. Totally crushes me. First time I couldn't watch the second video for the reason I gave on my previous post, but I watched it this time. You mentioned her eyes in the second video. Her eyes are every bit as expressive as her voice. She is just at another level. One of the best all around talents out there by far. Love your reactions to Lara. Please keep reacting to her. I look forward to them.

Hey Peter. I’m really glad you enjoyed the reaction and I just wanted to let you know, for whatever your life has thrown at you, for whatever mountains you’ve climbed or are climbing, I just wanted to say that (however cringy this might sound) you’re not alone, you ARE important, you are seen and loved and wanted. Lara is a God's gift and deserved more publicity and appreciation in the US but you also deserve more subscribers Brandon. Others without your analysis or sensitivity have more followers and some of them many more. Hi Brandon. Brilliant to have you back with this kind of reaction. I have been waiting for this for months. I know you've been through hard times, I'm so glad to see you back with great reactions to Lara Fabian. Exactly, it's all the little tins that make the big difference for me, in terms of Lara and pretty much all the other artists / musicians / singers. She is humble and grateful when she finishes her song, she immediately gives her musicians a thank you, her pianist, the one she has sung duet with always gets a hug and she seems genuinely happy that the audience claps and acknowledges her preformance. And the way her concerts are produced, when we see them, she is very careful to show all the musicians who are on stage, including her backing singers. She's not afraid to look ugly if the song demands it. She is completely free and herself. Love your reactions to Lara ❤ Love Lara ❤ Love from Denmark ❤

Just want to add one thing to my last comment. Igor Krutoy, Lara’s pianist and music composer, came out of retirement after hearing Dimash sing, just to work with him and has composed absolute epic masterpieces for him. Igor and Lara, and Igor and Dimash are absolute perfection.

Cheers Brandon! You know, It's so great to watch your reaction videos and specially when you're reacting Lara's performances. You can find those meaningful details which are really making these whole performances a form of art. Lara's vocals alone is art itself but her stage present, her movements and expressions and everything that belongs to her performances are making these so comprehensive...it's impossible to find anything that you would add or change. At least for someone ordinary ex musician like me. I can say things about the music itself and something about the vocals but usually there are things that goes unnoticed until somenone like you pays attention to these or points them out. And that's one of the reasons i'd like to look at these reactions. It widens the perspective...And it is also so great to notice that someone else is appreciating just the same aspects and features in artists performances. So once again thank you for the reaction Brandon!

Lara is the best female “story teller” emotional singer. If you love her I am surprised you have not discovered Dimash Qudaibergan. Not only technically the best vocalist ever but a supreme story teller and emotional performer. So many examples of him “preparing” himself before he sings. But one that is really special to me is “Love is Like a Dream” Talk about being being “in the song”. Lara is the best female but Dimash is the best male. Lara is actually one of his role models. Do yourself a favour and discover Dimash

I truly wish that Lara would refuse at virtually(no pun intended)all costs to ''lip-sync'' which is what is going on in this _'live'_ performance. Alas, the ''powers-that-be'' dictate the terms and conditions and in these cases the Russians are fairly immovable, to put it mildly, when it comes to ensuring artist compliance. They are also somewhat clever and imaginative when mounting such productions to see that the illusion of a live performance is carried off and preserved. They will intersperse genuinely live performances during shows, for example, as was done here. Believe me, it gives me no joy to be the bearer of this news if indeed it comes as a sort of revelation to those of you here who may have been unaware, especially, for ardent ''Lara'' admirers . In fact, it pains me so greatly to have to share this inconvenient truth that I had preferred a state of denial about it all for a long while rather than admit that I had suspected early on that something was off about the ''live'' aspect of the singing in this performance - the final note held and Lara's mouth movements etc. initially raised suspicions

I love the work of Lara and I am a true fan of hers. In spite of It, there Is no doubt for me that every single performance of "Llora" that I have seen, are lip sincked. At least in three different concerts. They are Just exactly the same studio recorded piece included in Mademoiselle Zhivago. Full stop. Thanks for capturing the same Truth, though painful..
