Bonus tip, if you are freehanding fancy curved foundations it is easier if you switch to the checkerboard painted foundations. This let's you measure the curve far easier as you can count the squares where the pieces touch so they are consistent.

i use the star pattern to make sure the foundations are facing the same direction, then i switch to the blue/yellow vault checkerboard floors because it's bright, reflective, easy to line things up, matchs the white/blue stripe wallpaper perfectly. great for alignment for 3d area design.

My favorite is a spin on double walls. Use a 2x2 foundation. Place 2 warehouse doorways in the center. Use a roll up garage door on the other side. Then you can swap out the warehouse door frames to whatever walls you like. Glass walls make a nice shopfront but must be swapped in. Check it out.

i used to do with with glass wall and one glass door entrance without a door (garage door is literally the door). yes, absolutely works like a shop with open/closed security gates. lol - i just wish i had more budget to build an interior mall area with this style in mind for the shops.

lol - learn something new, go use your knowledge. lol - i've built so many camps, make sure you get a few good screenshots before you create again :) sometimes, the new camps are WAY better than the older ones you love. this has happened to me so many times that it doesn't bother me as much any more.

Hiya! I tried merging my vendors into that same dresser,earlier.. But even tried the soil method.. Had to give up. Since I went to help someone. You always show us some great tips so Tks!! I'm curious? Have you ever attempted to double up log cabin walls? Is it even possible?

Hmm have you tried using the flamethrower method? Been a while since I've messed around with vendors to be honest! And that's actually a really good question never actually tried that, I'm sure you could double up a different set then change them to the log cabin set 🤔

@@TNG76 I think i tried that...It seemed that. Since the log cabin walls were kind of rounded or sloped.. It didn't let my wall sit.. Flush enough to repair and merge them. I'll actually retry now and Tks! 🙂

lol - if you build, make sure your build loadout can use flamer traps.... hands down the best tool for merging and breaking stuff.

You van still do round and hexagonal bases but the floors wont sit like they used to you have to put it on a sqaure base

im just wondering how you make the angled foundations the same height ? i can make the hexagon np but the angled ones always seem to be diff heights bcuz they dont snap to anything. also cant seem to get the ends to meet, even when using the checkerboard pattern on the floor
