I know TNT is generally refered to as the lesser of the two final room Wads, but I've always loved the stylistic aspect of the levels. They really did a lot with the stock assets (plus a few new ones) to make them feel unique

This wad was supposed to be free before the whole Final Doom deal between Team TNT and ID, people were mad it was paid at the time but Final Doom really did lead to a lot of other good stuff, like Plutonia, and the more obscure Perdition's Gate, so I think we got the best deal

This map is beautiful for the time it was made, I love this map regardless of the broken yellow key flaw, I love this map so much, My 9 real old self was blown away by the beauty of this map. Map 31 is my favorite official Doom Map to date. Map 31 holds a special place in my heart.

Hm! MAP31 reminds me of the crypt / tomb levels of _Blood._ It has a very similar aesthetic to it, I feel. Also, I think one of those slaughter maps you've played took sections from this… _I think it was the one with the broken lift and a lot of third-party edits and add-ons…_

I’m not sure if you’re aware Decino but there’s a bug on the unity port that’s not yellow key related. When grabbing the megasphere after killing the floating cyber there are supposed to be shotgun guys teleporting in. They will not teleport in. Even after firing shots. In the skull head switch room you can actually see a shotgun guy stuck on top of the wall. Weird bug.

After Decino got the 100% kills on Deadzone for the first time, the evil curse laid by the Casali brothers on the levels kicked into overdrive and started allowing the Revenants to unlock new tactics in a desperate attempt to maintain their legacy. That's the only explanation I've got for the inexplicably tactical revenant moments in Caribbean

This map was created by Dario Casali. Unfortunately, when he was tagging items, he tagged the Yellow Key as a multiplayer item. You can finish the game like Decino showed. But you'll miss a bunch of kills and secrets. Luckily everyone complained about it and Dario Casali made map31.wad, which just tags the Yellow Key as a Single Player item. Take this map as a tale to check your item's are tagged properly.

The patch is necessary for 100%, but it's not actually because of the keycard. It's because those enemies behind the slit near the end that are supposed to teleport in were originally behind a solid wall, meaning you couldn't hit them at all if they failed to teleport in.

Look, I know this isn't of the quality expected in response to Serious Sam: The First Encounter and Duke Nukem 3D respectively, but come on, a true Doom player should at least play these regardless of their personal opinions of TNT: Evilution. Better late than never, Team TNT. Remember, the classic Serious Sam games still haven't got proper fixes, all while other games have their own problems, like Star Wars: TIE Fighter's Battle 7 Mission 5 "absent ISD Glory escape shuttle for Grand Adm. Zaarin" and Deus Ex's Ford Schick conundrum. 19:24: Finally, retro video game radiated water that isn't green.

Apart from the patch, there is a fixed version of TNT that was included in some id Antholgoy packages. Someone also made an "id Anthology patch" that upgrades regular TNT/Plutonia to the fixed id Anthology versions. This also upgrades the DOOM2.EXE and fixed some bugs in it (e.g. crash on missing 4th demo, skies not changing between different "clusters" of the game, etc.). It's a better patch than the MAP31 PWAD that TeamTNT released.
